In the Cursed Realm, a ghost looked up. "Who are you?" he was facing a dark shadow. "Nobody. But I think you might like a... bargain of some kind." the voice replied. "A bargain? How exactly?" the ghost asked. "I can do something for you, if you help me with another." the shadow said. "What can you do for me?" the ghost asked. "The three wishes you want the most." The shadow was getting impatient. "Oh. So you're what, a genie of some kind?" the ghost asked sarcastically. "No!" the shadow sighed. "First, get out of this hell. Second, become the one that you should and always meant to be. And third, get rid of the one that's having that role now." The ghost thought about it, "No, that's not what I want the most."

"What?" the shadow sounded surprised. "This hell, it is torturing me, and weakening me at the same time. That role, it should be mine. But the third, that's kinda in the same level of the second. If I say yes, I'll only get two wishes." "Then what do you want?" the shadow asked. "I want to see him again." "Him who?" "Messy long hair, determined face, rocky dude." he gave a simple introduction. "Oh, don't worry, you'll see him along your... way."

Jay looked around, they were back at the fire temple. "I thought we're trying to get rid of this Overlord guy, why are we here?" he asked. The others laughed. "What? What's so funny?" Jay asked. "Ya know, we can't have a serpentine with us, he'll just make our process go slower." Kai snickered. "What? Who's the serpentine?" Jay lied. "S'okay, pal, no need to hide it." Lloyd patted him on his shoulder. "Cole told us." "Cole?" Jay was surprised. "I sense that you still don't know where we're getting to." Zane said, "You need to be thrown off for our own safety."

"Thrown off? Is this Cole's idea?" The Lightning Ninja asked. "Of course." Cole walked out. "You.. betrayed me?" The Serpentine ninja felt tears falling down from his face. "Look, Jay. I'm the youngest and even I don't cry." Lloyd smirked. "Yeah, we don't need a crybaby on our team." Kai said. With that, the Ninja excluding Jay flew off. "Why?" he asked. "WHY??!!!!" he shouted. They betrayed him, but what hurt the most is.. "Cole. Why would you tell them that?" Jay cried.

The Lightning Ninja opened his eyes. Where was he? It wasn't as hot as the fire temple, it doesn't feel as... dark? "Hey, Jay! Wake up!" Kai called. "Huh? Didn't you..?" Jay started. He was in Destiny's Bounty. "Dude, you okay?" Kai asked. "Oh... nothing, had a horrible dream." he replied. "Ooookay... we gotta go!" Kai said. "Where?" Jay changed his clothes. "To fix the bounty! Where else? The fire temple?" Kai joked. Jay shivered, "Better not."

"Hmm. Most peculiar. Yesterday there was just ocean, but now there's an island." Zane looked at the wide ocean. "The Dark island, Zane. And what I find more peculiar is after Ninjago city was attacked by the Stone Army, today they have vanished." said Sensei, who was standing with Zane. "Do you think they are on the island?" Zane asked. "Garmadon may be responsible." "I fear that too. But what's most important is we have to find out what is on the island." Wu replied. Zane looked at his falcon on his arm. "Perhaps my falcon can have a look." The falcon flew into the endless sea.

After waking up, the Ninja were fixing the Destiny's bounty. Cole worked on it, still thinking about the weird visions and the green dude. First, why green? Second, who is he? Third, what are the visions bringing him to? "Ugh, useless piece of junk!" Jay suddenly yelled and threw his wrench on the ground. Yeah, another weird thing happening this day, Jay's acting edgy and more frustrated than he usually is somehow, like he's afraid about something.

"Oh, it's worse than I feared. The rotors on the starboard booster are completely destroyed. The port boosters are shot from the strain." Jay rolled his eyes, "Great. Boo the sters." It took a little moment for Cole to realize that it meant "Boosters", because it's weirder than Jay's normal jokes. Yep, something must have happened. Kai did mention that he said he had a nightmare of some kind. Maybe that's the problem.

Jay wanted to hit something so badly he can't think clearly. Was it the dream? Their condition? Or the Overlord? "If you don't, they'll find out soon enough." Cole said that. He would never tell them until he is forced to. Cole would definitely wait for him to make the choice himself. That gave the Ninja of Lightning a little comfort. But that dream, it felt so real. What if it happened in the future? Just in a little different way. "The bounty's not getting airborne anytime soon." Thankfully, Nya stopped his thoughts.

Cole turned around, "So if the Stone Army attacks again, we're sitting ducks." "Uh, ducks can fly, Cole. Weren't you listening?" Jay scoffed. "We just got our tails handed to us and we can't do anything. Ugh, I hate feeling helpless." Kai sighed. The phrase "our tails handed to us" was giving Jay the shivers again. He wouldn't want to see his tail cut off and handed to him, hearing "Hey, we've got your tail and handed it to you. Nice, huh?"

"We mustn't give up hope, Kai." Wu and Zane walked out. "But the Stone Army is indestructible. You saw it. At best, all my powers could do is to slow them down." Lloyd looked at his hands. "That's not entirely true, it is told within the scrolls." Misako unrolled a scroll. Inside the Destiny's Bounty, Misako rolled out the scroll on a table so the others can see it properly.

On it, was a picture of four figures, in red, blue, black, and white shooting light in a green figure sitting with a dragon behind him. "The prophecy reveals that the power to defeat the Stone Army lies within the Green Ninja." she pointed. "I tried, I gave them everything I had." Lloyd said.

"Yes, but you are stronger than you think. Look. The true power of the Green Ninja can only be unlocked when his four protectors find their own pure elemental powers." she explained. "Are we the protectors?" Cole asked. "Pfft. Silly question. Of course we are. Haha, right?" Jay looked around to find the answer, hoping that he's not wrong. "If we are the protectors, then we're doomed. Our elemental golden weapons no longer exist. We cannot tap into our powers without them." The Ice Ninja said.

"But the powers do exist within each of you. And there is a way to unlock your powers on your own." Misako said. "We must go to the temple of light." "Temple of light? What's that?" Nya asked. "The gold in the golden weapons are from the Golden Peaks, but they are forged in the Temple of light, a powerful place I thought only existed in legend." she unrolled another scroll on the table. It showed the original four's animal symbols surround Lloyd's.

"It's on the Dark Island?" Wu asked. "I think our only choice is to find out." Misako replied. "So we get our powers back? Alright!" Cole exclaimed. Things are finally looking up. Or is it?
