The Overlord shot a bunch of signs with his load of evil missiles with the Stone Army marching behind the Garmatron. The Overlord himself laughed as baby dark purple wings started to grow into bigger sized ones.

"Can I still fight?" Lloyd asked, staring at his leg in some bandages. "Mmm, I'm sorry. That leg will take weeks to heal." Dr. Julian said. "But we don't have weeks." Lloyd said.
The others were staring afar at Ninjago Island, which was corrupted. "The battle between good and evil will be decided today." Wu said. "And we can't even get to the fight, much less get off this island." Kai said, throwing a rock at the sea. "Ah. I wonder if I'll ever ssssee Nya again." Jay sighed. He could've given a try to hypnotize her back to normal.
"Perhaps it's best to think of our friends as we remember them in our hearts, not as they are now." Zane said. With the help of Dr. Julien, Lloyd hopped to where the Ninja were sitting. "But I don't remember my father any other way." He said. "Your father loved you. It was the evil of the Great Devourer that corrupted him." Misako assured him.
"Sensei, I don't understand. The prophecy said the Green Ninja would defeat the Dark Lord." Kai threw another rock. This time, it bounced a few times. "Why didn't we win?" He asked. "I... don't know." Wu sighed. "Don't know? You're Sssensei. You alwayss know. You have a long and white beard!" Jay exclaimed.
"There must be some message to learn. A lesson. A word of wisdom." Kai said. "Just a word? Something." The Red Ninja was desperately looking for some guide. "For once, I'm afraid there is nothing to learn—" Before the Sensei continued, Jay cut him off. "We need to accccept the truth. We are ssssstuck here with no way out." The Serpentine sighed.
They paused for a moment, and the Green Ninja huffed. "If Sensei doesn't have a lesson, then I do." Julien let him hop on his own. "I used to be nothing but trouble, but then I met you guys. You took me in. Showed me the importance of being brave, the importance of being strong. And most importantly, being good." Lloyd put his bad leg on the ground, he winced and continued hopping.
"When this battle first began, when the first Spinjitzu master fought the Overlord and his back was up against the wall and he knew it was all over, did he quit? No. He found a way to keep the fight going. He passed his e;emental powers to us. Of all people, a bunch of kids. But there must have been a reason he chose us. I'd like to think it's because he knew we'd never back down, we'd never give up. We've learned the ancient ways of the ninja. And Ninja never quit." Lloyd said."He's right." Kai said. "If that means we have to swim the sea to get off this island, then so be it." He walked straight to the ocean. "The entire ocean? But I didn't bring my floaties." Jay said. "Well, if you've got a better plan." Cole said. "I don't, but he may." Zane said, pointing to his falcon. "Ooh, the falcon. He must have found something." Julien said.
Using the new fire mech Nya built, the Ninja followed the falcon to the Temple of Light. The falcon sat there. "You brought us back to the Temple of Light?" Zane asked. "I do not understand. We've already been here." He said.
Misako studied her scrolls. "This location, I've seen this before. I just never understood it." She said. The scroll she was looking at showed four small squares each in the corner of one big square with blades crossing into them.
The Ninja walked in the temple. Kai cut down some spiderwebs. "I think I found something." He said, pointing to a key hole of some sort in a stone beam. "It's just like the map." He inserted his Elemental blade into the hole.
"There's one more over there." Wu pointed across them. "And here." Julien said. "And over here." Misako said. Jay, Cole, and Zane activated their elemental blades and put them in the holes of each beam. After all of them did it, the temple rumbled. "What is it?" Kai turned around.
The little circle where Lloyd's symbol was supposed to be slid open. An epic golden mech was lifted to the surface. "Cool..." Jay smiled. "It is the fighting suit the First Spinjitzu Master used when he battled the Overlord." Misako informed.
"You mean the First Spinjitzu Master once sat here?" Cole asked, already running forward. "Ha-ha! Get outta here!" He climbed to the top where the mech seat was at. "How do you make this thing work?" The Earth Ninja asked. "Sadly, I think time has done her in. She's only a relic now." Julien sighed.
"If it worked for the First Spinjitzu Master, perhaps it will work for the next Spinjitzu Master?" "It's worth a shot." Lloyd climbed to the top. "Hey, watch out." Cole jumped back to the bottom. Lloyd fiddled with the controls. "Hmm. Nothing." Then the mech glowed. "Whoa!" Lloyd was caught by surprise.
The mech moved, a sign that it's turned on. "Whoa!" Cole exclaimed. "Lookin' good!" Kai said. "Whoa-ho, killer!" Jay laughed. "Amazing!" Zane exclaimed. "How does the leg feel now?" Wu asked. Lloyd lifted where his bad leg was supposed to be for the mech. "Stronger." He lifted a golden sword.
"Well, I know how he is getting to Ninjago, but what about us?" Misako asked. Roaring noises appeared from a distance. "I know that ssssound." Jay grinned. "It'ssss our dragon!" He exclaimed. "I believe we just found our way off this rock." Wu said.
