Ninjago Fanfic: The Lightning Serpentine

Chapter 9

"Hey Jay." Cole whispered, shaking his best friend up. "Wha?" Jay said. "I have something to ask you." After they got out of their rooms, fully dressed, Cole started his talk. "What happened?" he asked. "What what happened?" Jay asked back, yawning. "What happened to you back at the museum?" Cole asked, this time, clearly. "Well... remember when I said I traveled back from my true potential?" Jay started, sighing deeply. "Yeah, when you found out about this 'hero that died unhonored'?" Cole recalled. "Yeah, that voice came back again." Jay said, shaking his head, "Probably when I pasted out." Cole looked at the blue ninja, "It's the Overlord." he said. The serpentine ninja looked up. "What?! Are you sure?" he exclaimed. "Yeah, the timing? The voice? The way? It's definitely the Overlord." the Ninja of Earth said. Jay sighed in relief. "What's wrong?" Cole asked. "Good thing that the hero is not the Overlord, the whole existence of evil." the Master of Lightning smiled.

At the hot city of Ouroborus, Skales has a pleased look on his face and was looking at a large group of snakes—his followers. "Skales! Skales! Skales!" They cheered. Acidicus, the Venomari general, handed Skales his scepter, while Fangtom, the Fangpyre general got his crown. Skalidor, the Constrictai general, was going to hand him a package of some kind, but the snake king hit it off with his scepter. "Idiot!" he said. The Hypnobrai general have his evil laugh, "Oh, thank you. Thank you!" he called, then turned to the other generals, "Get down, get down." he shooed. He once again turned to the audience, "You're too kind!" He turned to find out that Acidicus was still there. "Scram. Go, go, go."

"Hypnobrai, Venomari, Constrictai, and Fangpyre." He stamped the scepter to the ground then left it up again. "Hear me!" he said. "The troubled reign of that duplicitous human Garmadon..."
In the audience, a Hypnobrai and a Venomari dude were fighting. "You're it." "No you're it."
"... is finally at an end. At last, out time has come."
The two were still fighting. "Not you!"
"We Serpentine must now unite in a common destiny to secure our place as rulers of Ninjago, and not let those insufferable surface dwellers win." He continued, "So as my first order, I say we burrow beneath their beloved city, to bury them as they once buried us!" he called, as the audience cheered. "Fellow Serpentine, it's time we knock Ninjago City back down to size!"

In Dareth's dojo, the ninja are training Lloyd. "Don't rely on your eyes. Use your ears." Cole said, facing Lloyd with a blindfold. The four readied their weapons. "Uh, guys, I'm teaching a class later, so I'd appreciate a clean dojo.." Dareth started, then saw the four strike where Lloyd was and the Chosen one jumping upwards. The Green Ninja kicked out Zane's Shurikens and turned to catch Jay's nunchucks and grab Cole's scythe to block Kai's attack. Little Greenie then used the scythe as a pole and kicked the original four one by one. Jay, Kai, and Cole were all kicked off. Cole shook his head and charged in a catching stance to get Lloyd but he jumped up, making the Earth Ninja crash on his scythe.

While Lloyd jumped, Jay swung his nunchucks and Kai swung his sword, but Lloyd swiftly avoided both of them. The Green Ninja landed, then kicked Jay on Dereth's fake trophy shelf. "Ah! No, no, no!" The owner yelled. Lloyd then jumped up as the four charged again, and a Dareth yelling "No!" For all the destruction they're making. Kai jumped and Zane sped to attack, the Red Ninja sound his sword right at Lloyd's feet when he landed but the Nindroid got kicked out. After that, Kai also got kicked and both flew backwards. Jay charged at him just as he kicked him. Dareth opened the window just in time for Jay to fly out. "Ahhhhhh!" The Ninja of Lightning screamed. Dareth then closed the window while the others rose. Lloyd started to use his powers and the dojo master screamed, stepping out the little flame he made that was on the floor. Dareth sighed. "Hey, open the window! Let me in!" Jay called.

Back in the Destiny's Bounty, Wu took off his hat, revealing some kind of black container, and looked at a photo. In the photo, was young Wu, Garmadon, and Misako. Young Wu was blond and wore a black robe with golden words. Young Garmadon had dark brown hair and red eyes. He looked very pale and also wore a black robe but with red words. Young Misako has light brownish hair, wore a green scarf and has green jeans. Young Ga mason had put his hands on the back of Misako and Wu, the three were smiling happily. Wu looked at the picture with slight sorrow, as if he missed the old days when he doesn't have to fight his brother.
