Ninjago Fanfic: The Lightning Serpentine

Chapter 34-Finale

Lloyd's giant energy ball was too bright to look upon. Wu, Julien, and Misako looked up in awe. "He has become the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master." Misako pointed. "This is the final battle." Wu said.

—Jay and Kai—

"Uh, Jay? Why does it kind of seem like your hypnotizing power isn't working on her?" Kai asked, looking back at Jay. Kai was fighting with Nya while Jay was trying to control her. "Well, I don't know!" Jay said.

"When I went on evil mode, I saw a place. Everyone that wasss hit by the evil ball was assssleep. Everyone excccept Cole and I. I'm thinking that Cole might know how the Ninjago that happened, but he'ss not here."

"So you're telling me now that Nya's actual soul is asleep somewhere in some evil place?" Kai asked. "Pretty much. I'm trying to get her to wake up, but even if she isss awake, I have absssolutely no idea how to turn her back." Jay said.

"Jay, if this wasn't my sister, I would've given up saving her already." Kai sighed, hitting her softly. "Well, one, she is. Two, Ninja never quit. For all I know, I'm kind of a Sssserpentine Ninja dude, so we need to keep doing this." Jay said.

Kai grinned, "Since when are you capable of arguing like this, buddy?" That gave Jay some confidence. "Nya. Look. Into. My. Eyessss. Remember who you are." He stared at Nya with his bright red eyes and his tail rattling.

—Lloyd—

Lloyd was still spinning in his ginormous energy ball. Suddenly, he stopped. "Lloyd was levitating! His robes turned golden. He was sparkling and glowing gold. Lloyd suddenly felt charged with Jay's lightning in a good way.

It was like he could do anything now. To add some spice, he looked at the Overlord with no fear. "I am the Ultimate Spinjitzu Master!" He announced, all dramatic and stuff.

Golden Lloyd threw his fist. "No!" The Overlord growled. On the top of the tower, Zane and Cole watched. "Yeah-hey!" Cole exclaimed. Dragon Overlord kicked Lloyd with his giant claws, but Lloyd bumped back with much more force.

Lloyd did a spin-kick. That seemed to get the Overlord. The Overlord was thrown backwards, still in the black corrupted sky. Lloyd powered up a lot more. He used his golden power and made a golden dragon.

—Jay and Kai—

Jay felt the brightness of Lloyd's dragon. "Come on.." He muttered. Jay summoned up all his will and looked at Nya. His whole body was into it. Jay's eyes bored into Nya's. He looked at her with determination. He needed to do this.

—Lloyd—

The new golden dragon growled. On the ground, Dareth still had the Helmet of Darkness on his head. "Awesome." He said. Lloyd faced the Overlord. "You can't defeat me." The Overlord said, "Where there is light, there will always be shadow!" He exclaimed.

"Unless my light is bright enough!" Lloyd shouted. He charged the Overlord. It looked like golden smoke trying to bury a dark, black substance. The golden smoke was Lloyd. The dark and black substance was the Overlord.

Lloyd pushed his opponent down, passing a bunch of stairs, passing Jay and Kai, and almost squishing Dareth. Almost. Just as they were about to hit the ground, Lloyd charged up into the sky again.

"This. Ends. Now." Lloyd said with a really calm and determined face. It was time to end this. "You can't defeat me." The Overlord said again. Lloyd's golden dragon charged again, though something was wrong. He looked around.

Smoke. Purple smoke. Dragon Overlord circled Lloyd over and over again, creating the dark purple smoke. Soon, on the outside, it looked like a giant smokey purple ball of evilness. Or rather, a cloud of purple darkness.

In the ball, Lloyd circled his golden dragon in a ring shape with great speed. On the tower, Zane and Cole looked really worried.

"It's spreading. Why is it spreading?" Cole asked Zane. "We have to believe in Lloyd." Zane said. Cole didn't believe the Nindroid, he knew he was just kind of bluffing to give them hope, but believing in Lloyd

"I can do that." Cole decided.

In the purple ball where no light could seep through, Lloyd's golden dragon was still circling the place at high speed. The Overlord's big head appeared. "Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha" He laughed. Dragon Overlord's big mouth (Which expands further to the back than other dragons) opened.

His teeth were sharp. Sharpened for a big meal. The Overlord took a bite and shut his mouth. One second, two second

Light escaped from his mouth! At first, he tried to close it off, but it became stronger and stronger "No NO!" He yelled as Lloyd emerged from his mouth.

There was a really big black dark cloud in the sky, looking like it would spread out

"I am Jay Walker. I am the Blue Ninja, alssso the perfect color for a Hypnobrai You will lisssten to me. Ssso Nya, I have one requessst... WAKE UP!" Jay shouted as loud as he could.

The cloud was spreading. It was really dark and looked like it was going to swallow Ninjago. "Wake up!~~~" Jay's voice echoed through the silence.

Boom.

Light erupted from the dark purple cloud. Ninjago once looked gray, but light was shining it to life. The light spread out to every part of Ninjago from where the big tower known as Garmatron should be.

Citizens woke up, being their true selves now, not some sleeping soul sleeping in wherever they were. Kai opened his eyes. The clouds. The Sun! He got up slowly. "Unh. What happened?" He groaned. Jay was beside him.

Further away, they saw Nya, the girl they were trying to bring back from evil. "Nya!" Both of them exclaimed. "My sister." Kai said. "Nya, you're back!" Jay said.

Zane ended up with Cole. "Come here, you tin can." Cole smiled, giving him a hug. "Brother." Zane hugged him back.

The Ultra Dragon landed near them. "Is this really happening? We did it?" Dr. Julien made sure while Misako helped him down the dragon. "We did it. You did it. I did it! Heck, who didn't do it?" Dareth laughed.

"Yeah. But where's Lloyd?" Kai asked. A golden dragon floated down from the sky. "Lloyd!" The Ninja exclaimed. "You were brilliant, son." Misako said. "Because of you, Ninjago is saved." Wu said. Lloyd jumped down from his dragon as it dissolved.

"Because of you, there will be a tomorrow." Wu said. "Speaking of which, if the Overlord should ever decide to show his face around here, we'll be ready." Kai said. "And next time, we'll be a little more humble." Cole said. "And a little more wise." Zane added.

"Aaand, with better catchphrases." Jay grinned. Everyone laughed. Lloyd sighed silently. Misako noticed. "We will all miss your father." Misako said to her son. The rocks moved. Someone in black robes and gray hair which is the same hairstyle as Lloyd walked out the big pile of rocks.

"Lloyd." The newcomer said, "What happened?" "Garmadon? Is it really you?" Misako asked. A small smile tucked at Garmadon's mouth. "Dad?" Lloyd asked. "Ah, Dad!" Lloyd ran up to him and hugged his father.

"Every ounce of evil and venom is gone." Misako said, joining the hug. Wu smiled. "I feel good. Aha. It's been so long." Garmadon laughed. "Good to have you back, brother." Wu said. "Wu. Good to be back." Garmadon finished hugging Lloyd and Misako. And walked up to his brother.

"Aw. Would you look at that? Who would've thought we'd ever see the day? You think we should dogpile them?" Jay asked. "Let's give them their moment." Kai said, "They earned it." "It's been quite a ride, fellas." Cole said. "You think there will be others?" Zane asked.

"I hope so. I liked being a Ninja." Cole said, "It's not like we have many other skills." "Ahah. Speak for yourself." Jay said, "I'm looking forward to do a little inventing, maybe some model building, dabble in poetry" "Jay's right," Kai cut him off. If he didn't, they'd probably have to listen to that list for months. "We've come a long way and there's no reason why we can't use what we've learned in our everyday lives."

"And who knows? We might've gotten the balance right today, but there's always tomorrow. There's no way of knowing what's around the corner. But as long as there's something worth fighting for, there's always a need for a ninja."

"And we'll be ready."
