Cordelia, that's enough," I hear Mason say.

"Fuck off"

"What got into you those days?" he asks.

That's true; I'm not a violent person if we don't count the fact that I kill people for a living.

"Don't you want to relax a little? I have a new bed in my house. I want to try it out," he smirks.

I look at him with rage in my eyes.

Chill," he backs off,

I go straight home and see everyone there.

"I made some pasta with seafood," Samuel said before I walked in my room. After a minute, I heard a knock.

I open the door and see Samuel standing there.

"I made pasta with seafood in case you did hear; I remember you saying you never had it so."

Why is he so nice?

"Thank you, Samuel." I smile.

"Is everything okay?" he asks.

"Is Lee here?" I ask him as I ignore his question.

No, he left a few seconds ago." I go out and see as everyone stops to talk.

"We were just talking about work," Connor said.

"One that yall are planning on July 4th?" I ask, and their eyes widen in shock.

"How did you know?" Connor asks.

"I saw the papers a few days ago lying on the floor," I tell them.

There's something that you guys missed, actually." They all look at me confused.

"The cameras on the fourth street"

"There are no cameras in there," Dylan said.

"They added a few more cameras around; people were speeding, so yeah." I started to draw circles where the cameras were "here, here, and here."

"Damn, I'll check them right now." He wanted to go to his room, and I went there with others.

Wow, that's a cool room," I tell him.

You've never been here." I shake my head.

It's full of computers and stuff that I don't recognize.

After he found everything on the camera that I told him about, me and Samuel left the room.

"Thank you, Aurora, really."

It's really nothing, and don't worry, I won't tell anyone about what you guys are doing."

"I know you won't; you're doing the same thing," he smiles.

"How did you know?" I ask, shocked.

A few weeks ago, maybe Evan a month ago, I saw blood stains on your shoes, It was a guess, but I was right."

Yeah, you are."

"Is everything okay with you lately?" he asks.

Yeah, it's just work being tiring."

"Understand that," he says and walks away. I started to think, How could I be so carless? Did I really forget about blood on the shoes?

Whatever, I started to smoke after I went to sleep, but it didn't come soon.

Overthinking hunted my mind, and without being able to make it stop, I started to
