"how about waffles with honey, not syrup, almost burned bacon and cereal" lee offers, I love crispy bacon that's almost burn
"Minus cereal" I state
"Cereal and you eat it all, anddd I'll take you to cheesecake factory"
"Humm interesting, when did you come up with this, the offer I mean"
"Yesterday, when you didn't finished your breakfast" I nod understanding
"Okay okay, how about cheesecake factory and no more so-called entertaining activities" it feels like I'm on shark tank
"But they are fun" he states
"You're one to say that" I roll my eyes
"Okay okay fine, let it be your way" lee finally agrees and I begin to eat
It's quite fun, I have him wrapped around my finger, he's been here for about a month, I think
Suddenly I get a call and lee hands me the phone
I look at it and it a unknown number, I still answered it and familiar voice spoke
"Hello Cordelia, miss me" fucking mason
"Why the hell are you calling me" I question, and lee looks at me, why did I suddenly got so pissed
"Well, few months ago we made a deal and if you forgot I'll remind you that you own me few hours" shit I totally forgot about that
"I can't right now" I state hoping he'll piss off but then again it's mason
"Then when it's been months"
"I'll text you when" I say and hung up
I'm pissed now
"What's wrong" lee asks
"Nothing" I simply answer, I don't want to get him involved, it's not a lie that we got a little closer
Not like we were before but I don't feel uncomfortable when he takes me in his hands to place me somewhat else
But I still have the line that I do not cross and I don't let him to cross, because if we do then I feel like all those past feelings will brake through and I don't know what will happen then
"But you seem upset"
"I'll handle my personal business" I say and he nods
I hear door open "damn what is with the atmosphere here" Samuel jokes
"I was actually wondering, how long till I can walk again" I ask him
"Well we will remove the cast in about 4-5 weeks and you need to be careful with it though"
"That long" I slightly raize my voice
"Sorry, I guess" Samuel said, lee doesn't say anything
It's kinda weird actually, lee it more talkative when we're alone together, but as soon as Samuel comes to check up on me, he doesn't say a thing, know startes at me or Samuel
"How is it" lee ask
"It's looking good, you take all of the meds right" he ask
"Yes" I say quietly and roll my eyes
"Why you're rolling your eyes, you don't like those meds" Samuel asks
"No, I hate them, they make me so weak and sleepy"
"Well yeah but that's okay, it should be expected from those pills" Samuel smiles and finishes examining my leg
"Have you been here all this time" he asks and I nod
"Well you should go out maybe, breath fresh air, it'll help with the mood, also do you mind using your kitchen" he looks at me
"Sure, is there anything you want or need" maybe he's hungry
"No, I just thought I would make you something"
"Yeah sure, that would be great" I smile and he nods walking to the kitchen
I then look at lee who's leaning against the cabinet glaring at Samuel
A few hours later I smell something delicious, Samuel comes with the tray bringing me what he made
"I'm not really hungry" I tell him but he still put the tray in front of me
"Meds will make you feel less hungry, you need to eat" I sigh, I took few bites and he then left
I eat and then ask lee "why are you staring at him like that and now at me" I raised my eyebrow in confusion
"I can also make food for you" he scoffs
"You can't cook" I question
"For you I can learn" he rolls his eyes
