Everett's P.O.V

I haven't seen Cordelia since that night. I tried not to make it too obvious, but I was constantly asking others, Where is she? doesn't help.

"Guys, there's something I need to tell you." I hear Samuel say, I walk there. Samuel, it's someone who will make you spend time with jokes.

We all go to the kitchen and take a seat; it's probably another mission...

"It's about Aurora," he begins, and my head drops.

"Is she okay?" I ask suddenly, but in answer, he shrugs.

"I don't know, but she asked me to tell you guys something."

"And you waited for this long?" I question.

"Did you tell her about the black code? What if she needs it?"

The black code is when, if we're on a mission and we need help, we'll call out the black code if one of us doesn't come back from the mission after 2 months. It means something happened.

"I did tell her about it, but that's not why I called you guys."

"Okay, we're listening," Dylan said.

"First of all, her name is Cordelia; Aurora is her middle name. Right now she is on a mission, and before she went there, she wanted to tell me the whole truth about herself, and she asked me to tell you guys the same story after she moved out."

"Aurora was forced to work with Fyodor Kalashnikov; she was sold to him by her father, and she—" he hesitates to speak.

"Oh, so you also know that she slept with her enemies?" I ask him. His head snaps at me, and he looks like he wants to hit me.

"What" boys look at me

"No, that's not true." Samuel said, "She didn't sleep with them; she was forced to."

"Yeah, for information, either she should sleep with them or seduce them, but we all know what she chose."

"You're right, but sometimes seducing doesn't work, and if she didn't do the work that Fyodor asked her to do, she should be punished, and I don't even want to say what punishment she would get," he said.

"Who's her father, though?" Diego asks.

"Orson Esmaray," I spoke

"Shit!"

"No way" I hear their whispers.

"Did you know?" Samuel asked me

"I found out the night before she moved out." I admit

"At least you didn't blow up on her; her father is the worst; he ruined the family name, and she's always the one who is blamed for, not to mention the situation with her sister," he sighs.

"She has a sister?" I ask.

"Yeah, she told me that her sister was kidnapped two years ago by Fyodor. The only thing she could do was save her sisters, and as I remember, she expose Fyodor's location; she did that, but the building suddenly started to collapse on them and" he didn't continue as if we were supposed to know what happened then.

"And" why the fuck did he stop?

"She couldn't save all of them, and her sister has some kind of problem."

"Do you know more about her father?" I ask, and others start to walk away, leaving me and Samuel alone.

"Well, Aurora was accused of making deals with your father; actually, her father, Orson, would make deals without Aurora knowing, and with that, not only was he not doing his part of the deal but also ruining Aurora's reputation."

Wait

So

Aurora didn't betray my father.

And the only reason she was with Fyodor was because she was trying to save her sister and others?

Why didn't I know that?

Of course, I didn't let her talk.

And the thing about her sleeping with her enemies...

God, if we had five minutes right now, if she was here, and if I didn't stop her from talking,

If I didn't stop her from talking. Where would we be right now?
