"Mercedes?" Jon called out for his wife while holding Liam. He was not on the bus during his wife's match. He and Fergal ended up talking as well as sharing some advice with the up and coming stars of NXT. He heard some commotion, unsure of what it was.

"Mercedes, there you are." He said, finding her as a raging woman.

He was concerned as she shook her head, not wanting to talk as they got back on their bus. He let her have her moment as she showered, taking off her makeup and getting dressed in some pajamas. She was glad to see that Liam was asleep by the time she got out of the shower. She felt guilty that he already saw her so angry, even though he would not remember it.

"Are you ready to talk?" Jon asked as they sat down on the sofa of their bus while their thirteen month old son was fast asleep.

"Okay, so... my uh, my dad fucking showed up." Mercedes admitted with pursed lips.

Jon was understanding why she was so angry. He knew the whole story and could relate as he did not have any family himself due to them all being toxic or addicts. That was why their close friends have turned into family from wrestling, mostly WWE.

"Was he out in the crowd?" He asked as Mercedes nodded her head.

He handed her some water so she could drink it when needing a minute. She was glad he knew the exact right ways to help her calm down as well. For the most part, Mercedes has healed from the traumatic relationships and experiences with both parents.

She felt like as if she's healed for the majority of it. However, when things like this came up it hurt. It hurt like hell for Mercedes. It was as if you rip the bandaid off the wounds, but no matter the speed it stung bad.

She also told herself she would be a better parent and have her children have better parents than she did growing up. She and Jon were breaking the private cycle they experienced during their childhood and adolescent years now that they were adults with their own little family.

"Then, he fucking tried to convince security to come see me! Some security guard came up to me saying that someone wanted to see me! Jon, I could see him out of the corner of my eye. I told security to get him out of here," She explained and took a deep breath.

"And he didn't?" He questioned, sitting down and holding his wife's hand.

"No! The prick tried coming closer to me so I went off on him! It took three security guards to escort him off the property! I want nothing to do with him or Judith (Mercedes' biological mother)! I am better on my own, with my husband, and our baby! They would probably just want the glory of saying that their daughter is successful! No, their daughter is successful because everyone else left her and she had to bet on herself!" Mercedes exclaimed before crying hard.

Jon understood where she was coming from. He did not stop her from expressing her emotions. He held her close as he has many times in the past. Jon was showing the side of him that only his wife got to see in private. The WWE Universe did not need to see or know how he and his wife were behind closed doors, even though some fans had their own suspicions.

"Mercedes, it's okay baby. You're safe and you can let it out." Jon assured her, kissing the top of her head as she cried hard in his chest. He did not stop her, allowing her to take as much time as she needed before speaking again.

"I just hate him! I hate him, I hate him, I freaking hate him! Paul (Levesque) is more of a dad to me than he could ever dream of! Fuck him, fuck both of my parents! I never needed them and I sure as hell won't now! I don't ever want Liam, or our future kids to ever be around them! I wouldn't give a shit if they died after everything they did to me!" She expressed, getting some more water. She found herself raising her voice and did not want to wake her son up or cause anymore ruckus. Mercedes took another moment to calm down as Jon supported her.

"You're safe, baby girl. Don't worry about those assholes! It's you and I against the world with our family, promise." He said, holding her close as she eventually fell asleep on his chest.

Jon did not care, he worried more for her mental health than anything. If anything were to go downhill after this odd event, he would be there every step of the way for her as she was for him.
