"I just don't know if I can keep doing this." Callie sighed as she was sitting on the couch with Mercedes, Jon, Aiden, and Gianna.

It's been two days since Callie and Jacob's blow out. She talked with Marianne, as she told her what all she told her son. Callie was just at a loss for words, thoughts, emotions. She was seriously considering calling off their engagement and upcoming wedding.

"What's your heart, mind, and gut telling you?" Gianna asked while playing with Everleigh on the floor.

"My mind and gut tell me to leave and call off the wedding. My heart is too many emotions to determine how it feels." She groaned while rubbing her eyes for a moment.

"You wanna call off the wedding?" Mercedes asked as Callie shook her head, crying hard.

"I can't do this!" She cried, walking out on the patio. They gave her a minute before Aiden excused himself to talk with his twin sister.

"Cal? Hey, it's just me." Aiden said, coming behind Callie and hugging his twin sister tight.

"Aiden it's so fucking hard!" She sobbed into her brother's chest.

"I can only imagine how hard it is, Callie. I'm a safe person if you would like to talk about it. I'm not gonna push you if you don't want to, but I am all ears if you'd like to open up." He calmly said, wanting to help his twin.

"It's just hard, Aiden. There's so many more factors into our relationship than just us," She began before catching her breath. Aiden nodded his head and listened attentively.

"We have a baby together. It's not just us, we have a little family. We bought a condo together. We have a wedding nearly paid off for, we film everything together. Our current movies are the first projects in a while that we're not starring in together. I just don't know what's right and what's wrong." She sighed, wiping some tears off her face.

"All of those things are very important to think about, sis. I would definitely take this time and think about everything. Also, focus on you Cal. You're doing amazing things. You're a damn star in Hollywood and the music industry, about to come out with a second album. You're an incredible mother and Ev's so lucky to have you as her mom. Just don't lose yourself in all this madness." He assured her as Callie nodded her head.

The two headed back inside with their family. Callie apologized for snapping at her mother and turned her attention to Everleigh. After making sure everyone was gone, Callie played with her engagement ring for a moment.

She stared at it, sliding off her finger and putting it down on the table. It was symbolic for Callie as she's always worn her engagement ring since the day Jacob proposed. Now, that was no more. At least in Callie's eyes.

"Where you heading off to babe?" Mercedes asked as she and Jon were upstairs in their bedroom.

"I want to go check on Jacob. At least make sure he's alive. I've been right where he is, Mercedes. He's not my son, but he feels like a son to me. I have to go check on him." Jon explained as Mercedes smiled at her husband.

"You're the best, let me know how it goes. I'm gonna check on Callie in a minute." Mercedes said as the two kissed and Jon headed out. However, Mercedes was stopped as she saw Callie's engagement ring sitting on the table. It looked to her as if her daughter's made a decision with her romance life.

It did not take Jon long to arrive to what was once Callie and Jacob's condominium. Now, it was just Jacob there. Jon headed inside as he really wanted to talk to Jacob, hopefully clearing his head. However, he was scarred as he found the nineteen year old laying on the floor of his and Callie's kitchen.

"Jacob!" Jon shouted as the teen was out. He quickly checked his daughter's fiancé out for any signs of an overdose. Jon was beside himself as he realized Jacob legitimately had an overdose, at least from the symptoms.

He felt Jacob's pulse as it was slow. His breathing was shallow. His skin was almost blue tinted and pale, unusual as his normal complexion was a caramel shade of brown. He could feel that his heart rate was fast while feeling on his chest area. His hands were also fairly clammy.

Jon immediately called for 911. He couldn't let Jacob lay there. If there was anything Jon could do to save Jacob, he would. As soon as the ambulance got there, Jon called his daughter. She had to know about Jacob.

"Hey daddy, what's up?" Callie casually asked her dad as she answered the phone call. She just got Everleigh down for bed after nursing her. She was walking downstairs to the music room before seeing her father calling her.

"Callie, you need to get to the hospital now." Jon ordered while riding in the back of the ambulance with an impaired Jacob.

"Why? What's going on?" She nervously asked her father as she just stepped foot in the basement.

"We're all like, ninety percent sure Jacob overdosed." He admitted as Callie gasped.

"What?! Okay... okay, I'm on my way." She responded as the two hung up the phone.

"Mom! Mom!" Callie shouted while running up the stairs, finding Mercedes in the kitchen.

"Jacob overdosed! Daddy's taking him to the hospital!" She exclaimed before crying a bit.

"What?! Okay, Callie go. We have Everleigh. Go with your dad and Jacob!" Mercedes replied as Callie grabbed her phone, keys, and purse running to her car.

Callie bolted to the hospital. Sure, she and Jacob were not on the best of terms. However, she would always love him. There would always be a part of her that loves him.

The two of them had a great love story over the last four and a half years. They started their own family with their one year old daughter. Callie would not wish this on him, even with her own emotions towards the situation.

It did not take long for Callie to arrive at the hospital. She bolted to where Jon told her, he and Jacob would be. As she met with Jon, they were waiting for Jacob. The surgeon was pumping his stomach to get all of the drugs and/or alcohol up out of his system.

"Unfortunately, we found a lot more in his system than we expected. He is okay and in a room now. If it wasn't for you, Mr. Good, he probably would've died in the house." The doctor informed the two an hour later.

"What did you find in his system?" Callie asked as she, the doctor, and Jon were in a private area to discuss Jacob's health status.

"Cocaine, marijuana, we found some pills that we can't detect what they are yet. They look like opioids, but we are running some tests on it. Along with whiskey in his system. He was knocking on death's door if it wasn't for your dad." He explained as Callie and Jon understood, heading to Jacob's room.

"Just so you know, we're gonna talk about rehab centers for Jacob. He can't live like this and not get help, Callie. Had I not decided to go check on him, god only knows what would've happened." Jon said as Callie nodded her head, feeling more out of sorts than ever.
