"Merry Christmas baby!" Jacob grinned early that morning as they were all at Mercedes and Jon's home.

It was Christmas morning. Everyone was at Mercedes and Jon's home. It became a tradition that worked well for everyone. Callie and Jacob were extremely excited since it was also now three month old Everleigh's very first Christmas. However, some more news would come out later that day.

Jacob has been keeping a secret from Callie. He has been wanting to propose to her. However, first he needed to ask for Mercedes and Jon's blessing. He planned on doing so at some point that day while he had a chance. Jacob just needed to make sure that Callie didn't know about it.

"Merry Christmas babe! Our first Christmas as a family!" Callie beamed as she, Jacob, and Everleigh were in her old bedroom. It was a little after five in the morning, but Everleigh woke up as she was hungry. So, Callie was nursing her and enjoying the quiet time with her little family.

"Might be my favorite Christmas yet." He winked, relaxing with his girls. After Callie was done nursing her daughter, Jacob took her and helped get her back to sleep. Once she was asleep, the two were able to get some more rest before enjoying the day with their family.

A couple hours later, the family of three were awake for the day. Everyone else was awake as well. They all wanted to celebrate the morning together like they typically did. This year though, it'd be a bit more special with Everleigh now being born just three months ago and Jacob asking for Callie's parents' blessing.

"Awww, thank you babe! I love it." Callie beamed as she opened up a present from her boyfriend. It was a gold necklace with Everleigh's name on it. She's wanted one since her daughter was born. She was now very happy to finally have it.

"Of course, beautiful. I'm glad you love it." Jacob grinned as they enjoyed the rest of the morning with Callie's parents, siblings, and their baby girl.

"Alright, I'm gonna take Ev upstairs and feed her. Then I'll probably take a nap with her, I'm so tired." Callie said to Jacob as they were finished with breakfast.

Everleigh was still waking up every two to three hours to eat, so Callie and Jacob still weren't getting much sleep at night even after three months. Even though she breastfeeds their daughter, Jacob still got up with her to make sure they were okay. He would also tag team with her to put Everleigh back to sleep after she fed her. The system worked great and one wasn't doing much more than the other.

"Do you need anything before you go to sleep?" He asked, wanting to make sure both his girlfriend and daughter were okay.

"Nah, I'm alright. I just wanna sleep while she does. Thank you, baby. Just have fun with everyone downstairs." She replied with a smile as her siblings and in laws were downstairs.

Aiden got a new video game for one of his gaming consoles, so everyone wanted to play. Well, everyone but Callie. She wanted to take a nap while her baby did.

Everyone understood and no one made her feel uncomfortable about it. She wasn't much into video games either, so she wasn't missing out on much. Occasionally she'd play with Aiden and Gianna, but it wasn't much of her gig.

"Oh yeah, I'm sure I will. Just yell or text if you need anything. I got my phone on me." He gave her a quick kiss on the lips before Callie took Everleigh, heading upstairs to her old room. Jacob took the opportunity and wanted to ask Mercedes and Jon, while he had the chance to.

"So, how is this first Christmas as a dad?" Jon asked as Jacob was helping him and Mercedes clean the kitchen.

"I'd be lying if I said it wasn't my favorite one. Sure, Ev's only three months old. But still a lot of fun for her first one." Jacob grinned, then taking a sip of his coffee. He was trying to calm his nerves down before asking the love of his life's parents for their blessing to marry their daughter.
