"Alright guys, everything is locked up. I'm heading to bed." Jon said to Aiden and Gianna as they were in the living room watching a show together.

"Night dad, love ya." Aiden smiled at his father.

"Night kiddo love you too." He replied before walking upstairs into his and his wife's bedroom. Callie was at Jacob's spending the night since her room was all packed up due to them moving in to their condo the following day.

"Aiden and Gianna still downstairs?" Mercedes asked her husband as they were getting ready for bed.

"Mhm. Everything's locked up and they're just watching a show." He replied before climbing into bed with his wife.

"You ok?" She questioned as she knew there was something off with her man.

"Just worried about Callie." He sighed, letting his head sit in his hands for a moment.

"C'mon, talk to me baby." She ushered, holding him close.

"It's just been a lot these last few years, you know Mercedes." He began as she nodded her head.

"It has been, is your dad heart hurting?" She asked with a sympathetic smile, knowing that her husband was having a hard time watching Callie grow up so quickly.

"Yeah, yeah it is." He admitted, feeling a tear come to his eye.

"Don't get me wrong, I knew this day was gonna happen." Jon began as he wiped the tear from his eye.

"Mhm, just like it did with Liam and Taylor. And like it will happen with Aiden." Mercedes added, rubbing his back.

"Right, but I feel like Callie's grown up quicker than the other three. I know each kid's gonna be different and our four are different in their own ways. But she's gone through a lot and I just want her to be okay." Jon explained as he felt a couple more tears rush in his ocean blue eyes.

"I understand honey, so far she seems to be doing good. She's been very honest about her mental health ever since everything happened. And we both know if anything happens, she'll come running to you for a hug and to let it out." Mercedes giggled, making her husband smile.

"You're not wrong about that." He chuckled before hugging his wife and passionately kissing her.

"It'll be okay, baby. She's still your little Callie Renee." She smiled, kissing his cheek. Mercedes helped Jon before they eventually fell asleep for the night.

The next day, the two were up a bit early since they were helping Callie and Jacob move into their new condo. Callie came over earlier to get her cat, Frankie. Then, she headed over to Taylor's house. Due to her being nearly six months pregnant, she couldn't do anything to help with the moving process and no one wanted her to get hurt. So, she got some girl time with her sister while everyone else helped Jacob.

"Thanks for helping out." Jacob said to Liam and Aiden, the three fist bumping and taking a minute to catch their breath. Moving in the heat of summer wasn't ideal, but it would be worth it in the end.

"Not a problem buddy." Liam smiled at his sister's boyfriend.

"Yeah, not a problem at all. Anything for you brother." Aiden nodded his head in agreement.

A few hours later, they were finished getting everything inside the condo. Jacob thanked everyone as they saw Taylor and Callie pull in to the driveway. He smiled, seeing his girlfriend and her sister. Callie also got little Frankie in her cat carrier, heading in to the condo.

"There's my girls." Jacob grinned, kissing his girlfriend. He bent down, kissing her baby bump before they let Frankie out of her cat carrier, allowing her to explore her new home.

"Looks like I've got some unpacking to do." Callie giggled, looking around and seeing all the boxes that needed to be unpacked and put away.

"Uh uh, you're gonna rest. Don't need you overdoing yourself." Jacob made clear as Callie looked at him. She didn't realize how overly protective he would be over her and Everleigh. She knew it was all in good manner though.

"Alright then." She giggled before turning her attention back to Frankie, who was sitting with Mercedes and Jon on the couch in the living room.

"Callie can I talk to you real quick?" Jon asked as Callie nodded her head. The two headed towards the third empty bedroom of Callie and Jacob's condo. She was a bit confused of what was going on, but was all ears for her dad.

"What's up?" She asked as they stepped into the empty bedroom.

"First off, I just want you to know how proud I am of you and how happy I am for you." Jon began as Callie smiled, nodding her head.

"I know it's taken me a while to come around, but you know how protective I am over you. I just want you happy, sweetheart. I want the best for you." He explained as both he and Callie found themselves a bit watery eyed.

"Thanks dad, I really appreciate that and I love you." She smiled, hugging her dad.

"I love you too, babygirl. I'm just happy to see you happy." Jon replied, holding his daughter tight. Even though it was hard for him to witness, he was happy to see his daughter in a good spot. He just wanted to support her in whatever she wanted to do and whatever happened, which is exactly what he was doing.
