"Are we ready for tonight?" Mercedes smiled at her son and daughter in law as they walked into the arena.

It was NXT Takeover: Dallas in Dallas, Texas. Everyone was there to watch. Pam and Fergal with their kids, Ashley and Joe with their kids, Rebecca and Colby with Bryton, as well as Jon with Taylor and Jeremy, Callie and Jacob, Aiden and Gianna. It was a huge night for the Good (Ambrose) family in NXT. However, things were happening that fans would not expect.

Britt Raine was defending her NXT Women's Championship against Alice Voss. NXT has been building up Alice Voss over the last month or so. The match was going to be great and they were also the main event. However, given they knew they'd have a great match, so much more was to follow in pursuit.

Jay Ambrose had a match against long time rival Jax Stuart. They've been competing against each other for the last near two months on NXT tv. Now, they could put an end to their story at Takeover Dallas. A lot would get put to the end tonight in Dallas, Texas.

Britt Raine and Sasha Banks have been a manager-competitor duo for a little over a year. Sasha Banks helped Britt Raine rise to the top, giving her the confidence boost she needed. Britt Raine captured the NXT Women's Championship nearly six months ago, with the help of Sasha Banks of course. Due to the help of Sasha Banks, Britt Raine was able to rise to the top. She and Sasha were an unstoppable and unbreakable duo.

They would be unbreakable until tonight. After Britt Raine retains her NXT Women's Championship, she would be getting rid of "The Boss." Britt would turn her back on her mother in law, solidifying herself as one of the top bad guys in recent NXT history. For her to turn her back on one of the greatest (if not the greatest) women's wrestlers, the WWE Hall of Famer, as well as her mother in law would be something despicable. Everyone couldn't wait to see.

"Hell yeah! Tonight is definitely going to be one to remember." Liam grinned at his mom and wife.

"Oh yeah! I'm really excited, but also super nervous. What if I mess up the turn?" Brittney nervously asked.

She wanted to make her mother in law proud. She wanted this story to be the greatest one of all time, man or woman. She wanted it to be epic.

"Britt, you're gonna kill it! Hit me harder if you have to. I won't care, I want you to look like the most evil bitch that's ever stepped foot in a WWE ring." Mercedes replied with a bright smile.

Sure, she might be forty five years old. That wasn't stopping her from having this amazing storyline with her daughter. Trish and Lita did it in their late forties many years ago. If they could do it, Sasha Banks could definitely pull this off.

"Okay, I'm gonna go find Alice since we have to meet with Paul for our match." Brittney gave a smile before looking at her husband.

"Yeah, I gotta go get my gear and start getting ready soon. Especially since I'm opening the show, Miss main event." Liam winked at his wife as Brittney giggled, making Mercedes smile bright. The three hugged before going off their own ways.

As her son and daughter in law went off to get ready for the show, Mercedes got to chat with some of the up and coming stars of NXT. She always loved to give back and help make the business better. That was no different. After that, she was able to go meet up with Jon and the kids. She was so excited to see her husband and kids at the arena.

"Hey guys! I'm glad you guys made it okay." Mercedes grinned as she greeted her husband. She then turned her attention to her three younger kids with their significant others.

"Of course baby, we wouldn't miss tonight for the world." Jon grinned at his wife as the two shared a quick kiss.

"Are you with Britt tonight for the main event?" Taylor asked her mother as they found a spot to sit down at for a moment.
