"Hey Aiden, what's up?" Callie asked while pre-wrapping some of Everleigh's birthday presents as the toddler would be turning two next week. Callie was wrapping presents while Jacob took her out before they had rehearsals, looking up to see her twin brother.

"Hey Cal, got your hands full?" Aiden chuckled, seeing Callie wrap some toys up in pink and Minnie Mouse themed wrapping paper as that would be the theme of Everleigh's second birthday party at Pam and Fergal's house next week.

"Oh yeah, party prepping is not for the weak. Anyways, what's up? Everything alright?" She asked as he tossed her some scotch tape to wrap the gift.

"Oh yeah, everything's going great. I just wanted to let you know that there's a chance Gi and I might not be here Monday for the show, but we'd be back for Ev's birthday party." He said while helping wrap his niece's birthday presents.

"No! How dare you!" Callie teased as the two laughed, Aiden knowing he had to fill his twin sister in.

"I don't care, you're good bud. You busy or something?" She asked, thinking it was something to do with his and Gianna's podcast.

"Yeah, Gi and I are taking a weekend trip to Seattle and I don't know if we'll be back in time on Monday." He informed her as she nodded.

"Oooh, fun little weekend getaway." She giggled, writing the tag on Everleigh's birthday present.

"Yeah, yeah it'll be fun. But I wanted to let you know that I'm proposing to Gianna on Saturday." He grinned as Callie gasped, tears filling her eyes as she went over to hug her twin brother.

"Oh my god, Aiden! I'm so happy for you!" She emotionally squealed, wiping away her tears as she felt utter joy for her twin and his longtime girlfriend.

"Thanks, Cal Cal. I just want it all to go smoothly and for her to say yes." He chuckled as she gave him some assurance, then changing the topics.

A few days later, it was Saturday. Aiden and Gianna were in Seattle, Washington for their weekend trip. They didn't have full set in stone plans, but wanted to go try new restaurants and sight see. Today though, they were taking a hike in the morning and then go to a new restaurant that evening. However, more exciting things were happening as well.

Aiden was planning on proposing to Gianna today. He wanted to do it during the hike. He wanted it to be very private, intimate, and emotional as well as romantic for the two. They were in general fairly private people and didn't want to make a whole ordeal about it.

"Ready?" Aiden asked as Gianna stepped out of the bathroom, the two headed to take their hike together.

"Yep! Let's go." She grinned, the two sharing a quick kiss before heading out.

The two drove just under a half hour before arriving where they wanted to go hiking at. They were both excited, Aiden a bit nervous as he had the ring in his backpack. He tried to block out his nerves after parking their rental car and heading outside to enjoy their time.

"It's so beautiful out here!" Gianna grinned as they stopped to enjoy the view halfway through their hike. She was taking photos as Aiden came up and kissed her cheek.

"Not as beautiful as you, angel." He smiled as she laughed a bit, happily kissing her boyfriend.

"I'm so glad we got to do this." She smiled as they walked up a few more feet to get an even better view, stopping and enjoying the peace.

"Me too, there's actually something I wanna do." Aiden said as Gianna furrowed her brows at him, feeling a bit confused.

"What's that? Getting lunch at a new restaurant after this?" She teased, both of them laughing before he pulled her in and kissed her temple.

"Yes, but not that I mean right now, beautiful." Aiden chuckled a bit as Gianna was still confused.

"What's going on babe?" She asked as she could tell Aiden was a bit nervous and she was unsure as of why he would be.

"I just want you to know how much I love you." He smiled as he kissed her cheek again.

"I love you too." She smiled, still feeling off with Aiden seeming nervous.

"Gianna, you mean the world and more to me. I don't think I could ever word just how much I love, appreciate, admire, and adore you. You stole my heart four years ago when you walked into band class, being your usual self. The one who takes no shit from anyone, does what she wants, but has a certain charm, charisma, and gentleness to yourself. You are the best thing to ever happen to me and I am eternally grateful to have you in my life." He began as he got choked up. He cleared his throat as Gianna began piecing together what was happening, tears filling her green orbs as she listened to her lover.

"I have loved you since we became so close, being the light and love of my life. I cannot imagine my life without you. You keep me sane on days it feels like I've lost my head," the two of them laughed a bit at that.

"And I want nothing more than to have you forever, as my wife." He grinned as Gianna gasped watching Aiden get down on one knee. He pulled out a three carat square cut engagement ring, opening the black velvet box as Gianna got even more emotional as this was all happening.

"Gianna Monroe Nelson, would you do the honor of being my wife and marrying me?" He asked as both were emotional, looking at each other for hearts were eyes as they melted for each other.

"Yes! Of course I'll marry you! Oh, my god." She grinned and gasped as he carefully slid the ring on her finger. Aiden stood up, holding Gianna close as they shared a loving kiss as a newly engaged couple.

"I love you so much, Aiden!" Gianna beamed after their kiss, lovingly looking at her fiancé.

"I love you, Gianna! There's something else I need to tell you though." He said as she was confused yet again about what he meant.

"What is it? Everything okay?" She asked after looking up into his eyes after resting her head on his chest for the moment.

"Mhm, I just want you to know that after I asked for mom and dad's blessing, I went to your mom's grave and asked for her's as well." He admitted as Gianna's mouth went agape, beginning to cry harder.

"Aiden," She whispered through her tears, hugging her fiancé tight and melting more for him at the beautiful gesture he made.

"I did. I went and brought flowers there, sat there for a little while. I know she was your best friend and you both loved each other endlessly. I know she's so proud of you. It would've been wrong of me not to. But I want you to know that I went to her grave and asked for her blessing, and as if it was a coincidence, a huge light of sunshine shined down on her site, and that told me everything I needed to know." He confessed, kissing her forehead as she continued to cry and clung on to Aiden tight.

"I love you, Aiden. Thank you." She croaked out as he wiped away her tears and held her tight.

"Anything for you, angel. I love you too. Now c'mon, let's finish the hike and celebrate. Fiancée." He winked, Gianna laughing a bit as the two enjoyed their hike, soaking up the bliss of being engaged and set to be married.
