"What time does Jacob land tomorrow?" Jon asked as he and Callie were in the kitchen, cooking together for dinner along with Mercedes.

"Around one pm. So right around Ev's nap or she'll be waking up." Callie said as she looked up at her dad.

Tomorrow was the day Jacob was finally coming home after an intense five month rehab stay. He has been clean since the day he left for San Antonio, Texas. Callie was nervous yet eager for her fiancé to come home.

She and Jacob have rekindled their relationship after their first time seeing each other in January, two months ago. Callie has made two more trips out to see him as Mercedes tagged along for those. The two were giving it another go with their relationship. She was wearing her engagement ring again and the wedding was still on, just pushed back another year. The two would tie the knot in two years on April 28th.

Everyone was glad to hear about Callie and Jacob rekindling their romance and giving it another go. They were also very proud of Jacob for sticking it out for the whole five month rehabilitation stay. He did not come home once. Not for the holidays, birthdays, etc. He had to stay to get clean in order to be a better man, father, and future husband.

"You excited for him to come home?" Mercedes asked as she was holding Everleigh for a moment, smiling at her husband and daughter preparing dinner together.

"Yes, very. I'm more excited for him and Ev to rekindle that relationship. He's an amazing dad, I have faith that it will continue now that he's sober. It's just gonna be very busy after he gets home." She admitted before taking a drink of her Powerade.

"What do you guys have going on?" Jon asked his daughter, unaware of her plans.

"Well, we do have that friends vacation to Orlando in May with Asher, Claire, Aria, and Dante. Then we're in London in April, June, and July. We also have our usual Lake Powell family trip right after we get back from Orlando. And we're just gonna have to find our groove again. I mean we really haven't been together like as a family in nearly a year due to him being in LA and I was in Vancouver." She expressed as they nodded their heads, listening to their daughter.

"You guys will figure out your routine once again. And aren't you guys also trying to buy a house?" Mercedes asked as Callie nodded her head.

Callie was trying to get her and Jacob's condominium ready to be sold. After all the bad that has happened there with Jacob's addiction, she did not want to stay there. Of course it would have a special place in their hearts as it was their first home together, along with starting their family there. They were also outgrowing it and ready for a fresh start.

"Oh yeah, no rest for the wicked." She giggled as Callie enjoyed the dinner with her daughter and parents.

The next day came as Callie was eager for Jacob to come home. She spent the morning with Everleigh, doing their usual routine. They went to do her work out as Everleigh played. Callie held her on some machines, but mostly let Everleigh play in an area nearby. They also had to take Frankie to the vet for a normal check up, finally heading home.

"Alright, Ev is asleep upstairs. I apologize now if she wakes up while I'm gone, she will probably be a hot mess." Callie laughed as she typically nursed Everleigh before and after nap, knowing without that her daughter would not act like herself.

"But I'm gonna head out to grab some food and get Jacob." She finished while looking at her parents.

"Alright, be safe honey. We'll handle Evie if she's emotional." Mercedes smiled, referring to her granddaughter.

"Yep, don't worry about it. Go get your fiancé." Jon said as well as Callie waved off at her parents, heading out to the airport.

Callie was anxious, eager, yet excited. She was more than ready for Jacob to get home. By the time she arrived at the airport, his flight had landed. He was waiting for the all clear to get off the plane and make his way to his lover. After waiting a little while for him, Callie stepped out of the car as she got a text from Jacob saying that he was on his way out.

"Babe!" She squealed as Jacob walked over to the car. He quickly jogged towards his fiancée, the two sharing an emotional embrace now that he was home.

"Oh my god, I missed you so much baby." Jacob quietly said in her ear as the two were very emotional now being reconnected.

"I missed you too babe. I'm so happy you're home!" She beamed through her tears as they passionately kissed each other.

"Me too, gorgeous. Let's get back to our baby now that I'm home." He smiled as they got his luggage loaded in Callie's trunk, hopping in the car.

"Do you still do therapy and stuff now that you're home? Or what does that look like now?" Callie asked as she was turning out of the airport, on their way back to Mercedes and Jon's home.

"Yeah, I'll do therapy three times a week. Whenever we go back to London I'll be able to do it over the phone. I know it's what I have to do to stay on the path of sobriety." Jacob explained, taking a drink of water.

"Good, I'm glad. And I'm very proud of you for getting sober. I know things between us were rocky, but I'm glad to see you in a better place." She replied as Jacob thanked her.

It didn't take long for them to arrive back at Mercedes and Jon's home. They arrived right on time as Everleigh was stirring awake. Jacob hugged Mercedes and Jon while Callie went upstairs to tend to her daughter, then bringing her back downstairs.

"Everleigh, look who's here!" Callie grinned, pointing towards Jacob as was crouched down on her level. Everleigh's little face lit up seeing her father.

"Dada! Dada! Dada!" She squealed  loudly. Callie set her down as she toddled her way over to Jacob. He quickly scooped his daughter in his arms, kissing her cheek and found himself emotional again as he was reconnected with his baby girl.

"Hey princess, dada missed you so much." Jacob said as Everleigh rested her head on his shoulder, patting her little hand on the back of his shoulder.

"My sweeties!" Callie giggled as she hugged her fiancé and daughter.

It felt good for them to all be reconnected once again. Now, they would begin a new journey together of rekindling their romance and starting with a clean slate. The two began laughing as they heard Aiden and Gianna walk through the front door, knowing Jacob was there.

"My brother! Good to see you home!" Aiden grinned, going up to hug Jacob. The two were extremely close and Aiden supported both him and Callie during the rough period they went through.

"Thanks brother, glad to be home and reunited with my girls." Jacob grinned as he and Gianna hugged, everyone happy to see Jacob home and sober.

"Proud of you, son. Glad you made it through the whole time you were gone. It'll be tough now that you're home and set free in a sense, but you gotta have some willpower or you'll tank back down. But I believe in you, Jacob. If you need anything, you know I got your back kid." Jon said as he and Jacob shook hands and shared a small hug.

"Thanks, Jon. I have no intention of ever even entertaining the idea of doing that crap again. I almost died and my little girl almost lost her father. Callie almost lost me, I can't do that again. I have to stay clean to be around for my family." Jacob said as Jon agreed, supporting his future son in law no matter what. It would be a long road ahead, but Jacob was dedicated to stay on a clear path. For no one else, for his future wife and baby girl.
