51 - BETRAYED.

【 FAITH 】

Eli looked at me confusedly. We stared at each other for a few second before he gaped his mouth after realizing something.

"That's right, what the fu..." he mumbled.

"Do you think they were able to fix the system?" I asked once again. It will be easier if we use this route for our escape. But, this blueprint as well, is definitely not accurate.

"I got this from that one office on the third floor, I also thought it was strange to have that office unlocked, and there's no one inside except this thing," Is he panicking? He didn't answer my question at all.

"Bro, I asked you a question," Eli flinched when I smack his arm.

"Oh...I don't know. I'm not sure, but...it should take a while, or an hour before they fix it because I broke it completely, not hacked or something, it's broken," Eli answered. Tsk, this is annoying, if only we have the pen with us, this will be easier. I should've memorized this place's layout before when Norman asked me to!

"Never mind, let's continue with this path," I said, both Eli and Ali were surprised by my decision.

"What? Scared?" I asked, they glanced to each other before facing me, and smirked.

"Bring it on," they said simultaneously, which made me smile.

"Ali, get in front of me," I spoke, Ali nod his head and we switched place. Now, I'm in the middle of the twins.

"Once you see a vent cover, don't go over it, check it carefully. If there are demons, tell us," Ali nod his head, I glanced at Eli and he creased his forehead in confusion.

"Guard your back," he nod his head again, then we started crawling.

I watch Ali carefully as we all move quietly through this small space here. Since he's the one in front, it will depend on him where we stop, and if the room he found can be used as an escape route. He's silently moving as well, as if he's been doing this for a long time now. How impressive.

This guy never cease to surprise me, he's even more amazing than Eli. Although, I can tell that his intelligence can't be compared to my friend here, his physical ability and the ability to adapt with the situation is amazing. He's going to be a great ally for us.

"Hey, Ali," I spoke.

"Hmm? What is it, Faith-nee?" he asked, looking ahead and not even glancing at me. Well, it's good that he's so focused.

"Have you seen a grille yet?" I asked.

"I can see one, we're close," he answered. I nod my head, even if he cannot see it.

"Great, check it first, carefully," I spoke, and he answered me with a nod as well. I stared at him as I smirked. I don't think Eli noticed anything.

When we reached the grille of a vent, Ali slowly moved and take a peek at the room under us, he roamed his eyes and furrowed his brows before looking at us and shook his head.

"Safe?" I asked, he nod.

"Safe,"

"Go down first, and catch our stuffs down there make sure to do it carefully," I said.

"Understood," he answered, he opened the vent and he throw his bag and gun to room.

"Careful," Eli said, his twin nod at him before jumping down. Right after he did that, I kicked the grille and closed the vent.
