42 - SEE THEM AGAIN.

【 FAETHEAN 】

I slowly open my eyes when the sunlight hits my face, it feels really...really warm. My body temperature is still not back to normal. I don't have any idea how I ended up being like this. Norman and Eli are still figuring things out, they also have no idea what's going on with me right now. They said that even my memory loss was something they weren't expecting to happen. Wait...sunlight? Why is there a sunlight---

Ahh...that's right, they brought me here in this room at the very top. 

I sighed.

Looks like I fell asleep while crying last night.

Norman told me that when he found me, my appearance had already changed. I was also acting as if I cannot control my whole body. I wasn't injured or anything but I was weak and exhausted.

Though, I'm still doubting that.

"Good morning to me..." I spoke, right after that, the door slammed open...by none other than Eli.

"Good morning to the lazy princess of the world, who didn't even bother to come down last night to eat her dinner," I blinked for a couple of times before I realized what Eli had said. That's right...I woke up because of a strange dream last night and I ended up falling asleep once again due to exhaustion of crying.

"Uhh...am sorry..." I said as I quickly wear my slippers and run to my closet.

"Hurry up and go to the dining hall right away," Eli spoke as he sigh, I nod my head repeatedly with a bit smile. When he closed the door, I quickly grab some clothes to wear, after changing my clothes, I grab the necktie from the side drawer and went in front of the mirror. 

I stared at the numbers on my neck. Like I always do, and touch it. But, I also noticed the necklace hanging around my neck.

This was the necklace Eli gave me yesterday.

My heart aches by the sight of this necklace but, it also feels relieving to have it with me. I don't know why. It seemed like this is something so important that I don't wanna lose but, it also hurts me. Emptiness...that's what I feel since the time I woke up here, although it fades away every time I'm with Norman and Eli. But, it won't leave me alone, this void in my heart. Seeing this necklace hurts me, but, it also gives me the feeling of nostalgia and a bit of happiness. 

Eli gave it to me. I must treasure it.

I stared at my neck tie and put it back to the side drawer. Never mind, let's not put it right now, it's not like I'm leaving this hideout so, there's no need to hide my numbers.

I went towards the door and leave my room. Eli asked me to come down at the dining hall, is he gonna eat with me? That would be nice! I'm tired of eating alone!

Hmm...let me see, what should I request for breakfast today? Maybe a meat? Yup! I love meat!

【 THIRD PERSON 】

Faith starts running, because she knew that Eli would be annoyed if she took so long to arrive. She happily hums random sounds as she thought of the stairs as her goal. She plans on sliding through the banister like she always do.
