29 - THE TRUTH ABOUT WHO?

"Please go ahead and explain it to us, dear demon?" Ray asked and glare to the demon girl. My heart's racing fast as I think of my other siblings. What did this demon do to our other siblings? They are still...alive, right?

I feel my body weakened and before I knew it, my body collapsed on the ground. Emma stand still while Ray kneel down and support my body, I'm sitting on the ground while looking on the demon-girl, she's just looking at me---I can't really tell if she's looking to me because her hood is covering the half of her face, but she's looking down so I guess she's staring at me. I don't know the reason why but...I feel strange.

"Well...why did these demons get in those troubles for a mere cattle like us?" Ray asked again for the second time. He's glaring intently to the demon-girl, I feel really weak...imaging those kids' dead bodies. Did they manage to escape, at least? Or...were they eaten? No way! We promised we would protect them!

"Hey Musica, you've gone too far. You're not really good at this," someone spoke behind us, I didn't bother to look...I already had someone in my mind who it will be. 

"That's why you came to help, right? But you're timing is pretty bad. You're too late and too advanced," So...her name is Musica. Wait a minute...how come that even her name is familiar to me? Just what the heck is going on with me? There should be no way that this demon is familiar to me. Because, first of all..she's a demon! 

"What's the matter with them? Their expression look so awful," It's the hooded demon-man who saved us. So they are both demons, of course...

Ray helped me to stand up and I let him force me to stand still. My body feels weak, but I still forced myself to stand—I'll be just a problem for Ray. 

I glanced to Emma, she's staring down—clenching her fist while gritting her teeth. She's probably thinking of the possibility that our siblings are already...dead...

"Why...did...you...help..." Ray tried to ask again but he failed, I know he's frightened because of the thought that two demons are cornering us. Plus, this place is too narrow. I can't even think of a way to escape from these two! 

"They're like that because you're hovering that thing over them, Sonju! The poor things are terrified!" Musica scolded. I gulped as I clench my fist, where are our siblings...?!

"Nonsense. I only brought it to avoid hurting the little ones there. What if they accidentally touch it?"

Little ones...? They're talking about our siblings, right? Or...are there more demons here? Demons kids?

"Why...are...you demons help—"

"Where are the children?!" Emma suddenly yelled, she glared at the demon named Sonju before running.

"Hey Emma!"

"Emma!"

We both called, but she didn't look back and continue running. Ray held my hand tightly as he pulled me behind him.

"My bad, kids. About your question, then...why would we, demons, saved you, eh..." We both turned our head to Sonju and waited for him so continue. They still hasn't removed their hoods,
