"I've managed to swipe what you asked for!" Don hand to Norman the two things he was holding, and it's the 'task' that Norman gave to them last night.

"Laundry power and Herbicide," I murmurs.

"What do you even need this stuff for?" Don asked, I have no idea why Norman asked for these things, for what? Do these things can help us to our plan? Don't tell me they're planning to kill one of the adults?

NO KILLING!

"Hey, Norman...you know...no killing, right?" I asked, Emma glance at me and look at Norman as she tilted her head.

"Killing?" Emma asked. Norman chuckled and shook his head as he look at Emma and turned his head to me.

"Of course not, we don't intend to kill the adults," I sighed in relief and put my hand on my chest. That's good then, plus...I don't think we can kill the adults. It's been how many years since I've wondered about how those demons can have Mama under their control, and when I already thought of the possible answer, I stopped thinking about it.

"Right, and I don't think we can kill them, too," Norman looked at me and his face's asking me what I mean by those words.

I cocked a brow.

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Well, uhm...I don't know...I can't come up with the words to say it, uhhh let me think for a moment," I said, I just had a bit of a thinking last night. I thought that those demons might be aliens, coming from different world, had a war against humans, and then the humans were defeated. In order to live longer, the humans must've submit themselves to the demons and start serving them as they obey their wants, like creating human farms to satisfy the demons' hunger. Of course, those are just some speculations, which I don't plan on telling them.

Also, I was curious why they had Mama under control, were their parents just...gave them off to the demons, so they can live? They sold their children to live? Just like how Mama gave Eli away to those demons? And that question stayed in my mind last night, then I realized something...Eli was a livestock from this farm, and his precious mother sold...no, throw him to those demons, so...if the adults' parent did the same thing, could it be that they were sent to a farm? A human farm? I came to think how Mama, Ray's mother is also the one who's taking care of the children in this house, why? And how come she's here? With her son? Where did they came from? And then, another question was added to my mind...how do those demons select a Mother for every farm? Did they simply volunteer? But, what's the merit of that? If I were to be asked to become a mother for cattle children, I would just ask them to kill me. And I'm pretty sure, they would be afraid of the demons to work with them, you can't just simply trust them. So, how did Mama, became a Mama in this so-called orphanage?

There's only one possible answer that came to mind.

Mama's current age is 30. Meaning, she was just born when the demons landed in this world. She had Ray when she was 19, and Ray ended up being a cattle child in this farm, then...how did Mama became those demons' loyal servant? Like I said, there would be no merit, it's not like the demons would set her free after her duty as a mother ends. So, it could be because something is holding Mama back. And then this thought came to mind.
