I roamed my eyes inside this room, this place looks like a laboratory, with one bed on the corner, this is not an infirmary, yeah? Why would they put a bed in a science lab? The heck? Or is this a place for experimentation? I have no idea why these two brought me here. I mean, Vincent and Eli. They won't tell me anything even after asking them how many times.

Today is just my second day here. It really is an amazing place, everyone here smiles like there's no tomorrow and they are all so kind. Seeing those people here live their lives peacefully without any fear felt euphoric. I've been thinking about my siblings these past few days, and how I wish that they would experience this kind of feeling too. Sleeping soundly without needing to be alert about anything. 

There's a lot of things occupying my mind right now, including the unknown reason of Eli and Norman's lies last night. I mean, if they knew that Emma and the others were attacked, why didn't they tell me anything? It doesn't make any sense. Do they simply want to hide it from me because they knew that I'd become so worried about my siblings? Why? I deserve to know, right? 

I heaved a sigh and picked up a test tube, then put it back right away.

"Sorry but, I am not interested with these," I spoke, breaking the silence we had. They both looked at me and glanced to each other, I don't know why but, I feel something bad about this? Even though Eli is with us, I shouldn't be worrying, right? But...what is this feeling?

"Faith, can you tell us about how you survived when you were chased by the demons before?" Eli asked, I tilt my head and creased my forehead. How I survived...when I was chased by the demons?

Uhm...

I mean...

"When exactly? I've ran into many demons before you know? I can't even count it on my fingers how many times I was chased by them," I answered, staring at him directly into his eyes, his red eyes is mesmerizing, really. 

But, wait---why are they even asking me about that?

"I mean, when you were baby," I blinked for a couple of time before turning my head to Vincent. I'm pretty sure he heard me last time when I was yelling at Norman because they wanted to kill Musica and Sonju. But it looks like he never said anything about it.

So, it's up to me again.

I started telling Eli about what happened to me, why the woman took me away from that clan, how did that, how she was attacked by the demons, how we were cornered, how Musica and Sonju came to save us, how I received Musica's blood, and how I ended up being a cattle child in Grace Field. It took an hour before I finished telling him one by one, details by details, and word by word---he finally understand it. I even told him some of my travels with Sonju and Musica.

"Faith, I want to ask something. If it's fine for you," Eli said, hmmm...what is it now?

"What is it?" I asked. Eli glanced at Vincent, the latter nod his head and Eli did the same before they both turned to me.

"I...no, we, we want to get some of your blood and make a test, since you have the cursed maiden's blood. We can use it to investigate if it's really toxic or not for demons," hmm? Why? Do they have some kind of plans for the demons"
