Autumn stood staring back at a person she loved, staring back at person she hated and loved with every fibre of her being.
"long time no see" Lara said smiling as if she didn't remember anything that they'd been through
"yeah it's almost as if you left or something" Autumn said bitterly
"What's going on who's this" Jack asked confused
"This is Lara and were never going to see her lo again, come on guys where going to bed and then where leaving" Autumn said not wanting to speak to Lara at all. The four of them walked up the stairs and Autumn climbed into bed and threw her shoe against the wall
"oh god, i hate her so much" Autumn yelled feeling the internal fire burn hotter "seriously why, why did i love her she's so annoying and why are her eyes and her smell so perfect" Autumn said smacking her head with a pillow
"maybe you still love her?" said Hope trying her best to clam her friend
"no don't be stupid Hope, she's so, so perfect and i despise it" Autumn said standing up
"sleep on it, we're going to see Daniel in the morning anyway and he'll sort us out" Hope said sweetly. "Now" Hope said before she clicked her fingers and her outfit turned into fluffy pyjamas with moons on. Merlin hopped into her bed.
"Autumn shut your eyes and imagine some nightwear for yourself" Hope said
Autumn shut her eyes but all she could imagine was a simple vest and pantaloons. Autumn opened her eyes, the excitement she had felt when she looked at her vest was absent.
"hope " Autumn whispered but Hope was already asleep snuggled against her pillow with Merlin snuggled against her. Autumn stared at the ceiling it was cracked with the wooden beams looking rooted but Autumn didn't much care. She couldn't seem to shake Lara from her mind.
Eventually Autumn fell asleep and another dream began. Her and Lara were spending the day together they had been dating for while now but hadn't confirmed there where girlfriends. Autumn was sitting on a wall and Lara was laying her head on Autumn's shoulder
"oh you and your girlfriend are so sweet" said an man walking past the two of them. Autumn swallowed hard not knowing what to say.
"thank you" Lara said. The man walked off down the street
"i-i w-were girlfriends" Autumn said
"yeah of course" Lara said "what else would you be" Lara said
"i dunno i just thought that i dunno you just dated around or something" Autumn said sadly a tear running down her face with relief
"oh Autumn, i wouldn't date anyone else in the world your the reason i'm still alive for god sake" Lara said laughing. Lara wiped Autumn's tear
"i'm so lucky to have you" Autumn said and then kissed Lara softly there lips meeting. Autumn felt as if she could conquer the world she hugged Lara
"shall we get cordial babe?" Autumn asked
"sure baby girl" Lara said
"stop i'm not a baby" Autumn joked
"your my baby, wait that's weird, you know what i mean" Lara said
"yeah i know" Autumn said kissing her again
Autumn woke with a start she saw Hope was already dressed and was packing her stuff into her case.
"oh finally your awake" Hope said
"sadly yes" Autumn said
"sadly? still having dreams about Lara?" Hope said
"yeah, i hate it" Autumn said climbing out of bed and stretching
"close your eyes and imagine something smart" Hope said, Autumn imagined a white shirt, pantaloons and a black corset
"nice" said Hope looking at Autumns outfit
"when did you even learn that spell" asked Autumn
"oh i learnt a few things after you left, i went back to my old coven and they taught me a few things" Hope said
"why'd you come back then?" Autumn asked
"i missed home, missed you i was so stupid but i thought you might come back" Hope said
"oh right" said Autumn beaming back at her friend
"well we should go" Hope said, Autumn and Hope walked out of the room carrying there belongings well Autumn was carrying her things Hope was guiding her broom along the hallway.
"we're leaving now!" said Autumn banging on the door of Jack and James room.
"what? nah" James said back
"you idiots get up" Hope said. Hope and Autumn stood annoyed waiting for Jack and James to get ready
"finally" Autumn said about 20 minutes later
Then the four of them proceeded to walk down towards a large manor house just south of the town. They arrived and knocked on a large oak door a girl with black eyeliner and black hoop earrings welcomed them. She'd have been the kind of girl Autumn would've dated if she wasn't already in love with Lara (although Autumn was reluctant to admit it)
"Oh Hope, nice to see you again you twit" the girl said "who are these guys" she said almost winking at Autumn in a flirty way
"I'm Hope's friend and these two aren't important" Autumn said
"okay then come inside" The girl said welcoming them in. Hope lay down her broom and Merlin found a comfy spot near a warm fire to lay. "do follow me to the drawing room" the girl said
"whats your name then?" asked Jack
"Cordelia" said the girl
"Jack put it there" said jack putting out his hand
"jesus christ you flirting is painful" said Autumn. Cordelia blushed and lead the group across the long hallway and knocked on the door of the drawing room
"Sir, guests for you" the girl said
"tell them to piss off" came a snarky voice
"But Sir its H-"Cordelia said before the door was thrust open by a boy. His hair was blonde and he was wearing a loose nightgown that was black. He wasn't particularly muscular and was actually quite slim. His eyes were green and his skin was a pale colour.
"oh Hope i didn't realise i-i'm sorry um" he said nervously
"its fine i was expecting it" Hope said kissing him on the cheek
Autumn looked at the two of them and almost wished she hadn't shouted at Lara (almost).
