A few days after the battle had been won, the damage to the town was somewhat fixed and the city was in a decent, stable condition. Most of the houses had been fixed however the castle hall was still being used to distribute food. The streets were completely clean. Malus along with many of his followers were detained in the dungeons many awaiting trial.

Hope had spent her days helping to fix up homes, parts of the castle and anything else destroyed in the fight. Daniel had spent his time sorting out the business between the kingdoms, informing them of the take over and telling them that a new leader would be put into place soon however upon writing this he was unsure of who exactly was taking over, he didn't exactly feel like he wanted to he was the prince who never wanted to be king. He wanted to live with Hope maybe in a castle somewhere with a little power perhaps, but not a whole kingdom.

Jack spent his time writing about there ordeals in Autumn's journal, he thought perhaps he'd do something important with his life after this like motivational talks or writing novels. Aggie had been helping people, fixing up wounds, finding people, reuniting families.

Unfortunately Lara hadn't moved from her room in the castle in days. Hope would come and give her food and a potion to help with depression and grief but she hadn't moved from her seat by the window. Barely eating anything and taking some but not all of the medication.

Lara would sit by the window looking upon the spot that Autumn died in her arms. She would wake up in the middle of the night having had a nightmare, she would wake up in sweat, screaming, panting and her heart beating extremely fast. Hope would come in and comfort her giving her another set of potions to help with the fear, the heart racing, the nightmares, the night sweats. Hope grew worried about Lara worrying she might be like this forevermore.

Finally after three days of torture the funeral came. Lara dressed herself in the finest silk dress she could find, she put a black rose in her hair. Lara looked out of the window once more and for a second she thought she saw Autumn standing there. She looked again still seeing her standing there looking both ways in her pirate clothes. Lara blinked, still there. Lara grabbed her dagger, not thinking about what she was doing being blindly lead by her despair, her grief, her fear and most of all her undying love. Lara ran down the castle staircase and through the front door narrowly missing Hope.

"what are you so happy about" Hope said smiling with pleasant surprise

"can't stop, sorry" Lara said pelting out of the castle door. She entered the courtyard. She still saw Autumn standing there, Autumn looked back at her and ran off down the street. Lara ran after her.

A great chase began. Autumn seemed to run round a street corner scaling a wall vigorously followed by Lara. Lara tried to grab for Autumn's long, brunette braid but narrowly missed. Autumn ran up some stairs a leapt onto a bridge. Lara scaled a lamp post using her dagger to pull herself up barely having the strength to do so. Lara leapt onto the roof narrowly hanging on. Autumn leapt into the water below and out of sight. Lara screamed at her before breaking down in tears again seconds later Aggie turned up.

"Lara what are you doing? are you okay?" She said from below. Lara jumped onto the lamp post and slid down. She shoved past Aggie ignoring her.
