Autumn had been on the ship with Aggie three days now. She'd started wearing pirate clothes like Aggie's she began to captain the ships. Every evening she spend drinking mead, eating crackers and arm wrestling - she'd even won an arm wrestle against big tom the strongest man on the ship - she'd spend her days fighting, sailing hanging of the rigging just for fun. Things with Aggie had still carried and Autumn felt some guilt but the pleasure seemed to take over, Lara didn't even want her anymore she wanted Malus, she was going to marry him, be with him, love him so what should she care?
Autumn would often sit at the top of the ship as the sunset wondering about Hope, Daniel, James, Jack and Lara. Mostly about Lara wondering if she was married yet, wondering if her friends were still alive and whether her life would go back to the way it was or whether her friends were dead. That part would always make her shudder and she would start to cry. One evening Aggie saw her she climbed up to the crows nest and sat besides her.
"your thinking about them aren't you? her" Aggie said almost a little disappointed
"yes, sorry i can't help it i miss them" Autumn said feeling a little guilty
"it's fine you can't help it, there okay you know i'm sure they are iv'e seen them fighting there fine i'm sure they are"
"how can you be" Autumn snapped, the pair sat in silence for a moment "sorry i din't mean to snap i-i just i miss them i know i went seven years without seeing Hope, i left just a note and that was it. I took her for granted for so long. I never should have" Autumn said tears streaming down her face
"i know, i know" Aggie said trying to comfort her, Autumn lent on her shoulder "and Lara do you still like her? Love her?" Aggie said scared to hear the answer
"If I'm being honest, I don't know " Autumn said
"Well if you could would you be with her" Aggie asked
"honestly i don't know I'd need an explanation of everything but I can't ask that of her. In what context can I ask her to talk to me about things I'm not entitled to knowing? " Autumn said
"Do you love me?" Aggie said holding her hand on Autumns face
"I like you, I don't love you. Not yet"
"That'll do" Aggie said kissing her. Autumn liked it, but she missed Lara a little part of her wanted things to change.
Autumn spotted a black shadow flying towards her from the distance.
"what's that?" Aggie said a little panicked
"i can't see" Autumn said standing up and climbing the rigging a little more, Autumn stood on the top point of the ship and pulled out a telescope she almost fell of the ship into the sea when she saw it was Hope.
"prepare the cannons" Aggie yelled waking everyone up, within seconds men and women flocked onto the decks and loaded the cannons beginning to fire them at Hope.
"stop, stop, stop!" Autumn said swinging down to the deck from a rope
"what? why?" Aggie said
"that's Hope" Autumn said, the cannon fire ceased as soon as the words left Autumn's mouth. The cannon ceased fire but the last cannon ball left the cannon and hit the broom. Autumn watched with horror as the broom snapped in two and Hope, Daniel and Merlin fell into the sea.
Autumn didn't hesitate to grab her sword and dive into the sea. "Autumn, what about the sirens" Aggie yelled after her but the words seemed to blur as Autumn swam into the sea, the blue light from before seemed to surround her and began to pull her down further and further, she could see Hopes face but everything began to blur and the water began to fill her mouth so that no one could hear her scream.
