Autumn burst through the door of the room in the tavern.

"are you okay?" Hope asked taken a back at Autumn's panicked entrance

"right, get your best clothes on were going to a ball, i met this girl called Aggie she's coming too, Lord Malus is going to bring subtle weapons and it's a ball only for upper class people so he'll be off his guard"

"r-right, yes um shall we go" Hope said grabbing an outfit off her bed and walking off, something seemed off to Autumn but she didn't know what"

"okay, i'll go tell the boys" Autumn said rushing up the stairs

Moments later the group was walking down the street, Autumn was wearing a silk blue dress that fell down to her ankles. Aggie was standing next to a lamp post and was well dressed in a green dress and black corset her hair looked very pretty in the moonlight with the red flairs glistening in the shine rays of the moon. Autumn would've had flirted with her but something stopped her.

"shall we go" she asked opening the door to a simple carriage. It wasn't like other carriages being lead down the street. It was lead by skeleton horses and it was floating. It wasn't painted in the traditional blue, pink, red or gold but was deep black with stars over it. The entered Daniel helping Hope into the carriage like a proper gentlemen.

The group arrived in at the large mansion this ball was being hosted in .The building was brightly lit and well populated by people all bustling around.

"come on then get let's go inside shall we" Aggie said

"um we can't go through the front" Autumn said

"what? why?" Aggie said suspiciously

"well you see-" Jack tried to say

"this ball is to celebrate a wedding right, but it's also to celebrate a victory"

"yes?" Aggie said still confused

"the victory over the 12th battalion of Alvion, well Jack, James and i are the last surviving members" Autumn said looking awkwardly at the floor. Aggie didn't look to shocked she almost smiled.

"really! it's you, your alive!" she said joyfully "well let's go inside shall we" Aggie said joyfully.

The group went through a back door and down a  along dark hallway. Autumn held at the back while Aggie led the group, Autumn saw the light of the ball glistening with chandelier light. Autumn was inches away before someone hoisted her back making her heart skip a beat.

"Ah f-" Autumn began before seeing Lara

"can i talk to you" Lara said in a strange tone

"sure" Autumn said breathing heavily. Lara pulled her down a hallway that was well lit but empty and quite. Autumn leaned herself against the wall

"i-i need to tell you something, um something about my family"

"Like I give a damn, you just up and left. Again. " Autumn muttered angrily before trying to walk away

"Autumn!" Lara said pulling her back "let me finish" Lara said taking a deep breath to hold back the tears "My parent they, they made me marry someone and i-i said i would" Lara said hugging close to Autumn. Autumn was more confused than ever, she cared a little but she couldn't forgive her. Not just yet.

"forgive me?" Lara said asked

"No" Autumn said looking deeply into Lara's sorrowful eyes. Lara looked back, she put her arms round Autumns neck, Autumn felt her stomach fill with butterflies but she pushed Lara off. Autumn felt a sense of guilt that she couldn't deny but she didn't want this, not like this.

"Autumn! I'm sorry, okay!"

"I can talk to you right now"
