The unexpected hero's

Chapter 18 meanwhile in the dungeon

Meanwhile Hope, Daniel, James and Jack all sat in the dungeon. They had walked into the hall but somehow they'd been ambushed. All of them were snatched and awoke in a dungeon likely having been drugged.

Hope sat staring at the wall she didn't quite know what to do her head was blank, empty. No potions no spells no nothing. Daniel paced, while Jack sat throwing little pebbles at the wall with each footstep, each pebbles hitting the wall and falling to the floor a little bit of Hopes patience seemed to grate away.

"shut up will you" Hope said finally snapping

"babe its okay" Daniel said

"no,no it's not Autumn won't mange this on her own, were going to die" Hope said "were going to die, goodbye the end were forgotten"

"yeah i get it!" Jack yelled "we all do, i didn't choose to be here you know we've just been dragged along where ever you asked us to go did you ever stop to ask. Hey Jack what do you think, hey Jack do you want to go home . No, you never never did!"

"speak for yourself, i don't care if you've just been sitting there in your own misery for the past month but iv'e felt like i finally had purpose, like i'm a part of something that actually matters" James yelled back

All of the broke out into a fight but the stopped dead silent the minute they heard someone tossed into the next dungeon. Hope held up a finger to tell everyone to be quite she finally thought of a spell

"ablivionate" she said, bricks started coming out of the wall and floating in mid air forming a sort of set of stairs. Hope walked over the the stairs and climbed up everyone else stood there confused and dead silent not daring to move.

Hope peered over the tiny hole in the blocked by bars she could just make out what or rather who was on the other side

"Lara? what are you doing here? your supposed to be-"

"Hope" Lara said looking up, she looked rough her eyes were black her whole body looked bruised and sore, she sat down probably unable to stand. Hope looked shocked when she saw her.

"what happened?" Hope said still shocked

"you don't want to know" Lara mumbled "how does it feeling knowing your gonna die?" Lara said bluntly

"were not Autumn will save us" James yelled at Lara

"ha ,no she won't she's long gone. It all my fault" Lara cried

"you can't say that" Hope said disgusted

"why? it's true she doesn't care, i told her to go she probably off with Aggie making out and living her best life" Lara said staring at the wall

"no there coming to save us i just know it, i don't give a damn if you want to be all sad and marry Malus and just-"

"i don't want to marry him!" Lara yelled standing up for a second before falling to the ground, she cried out in agony. Lara began to lift herself up from the floor and then fell backward onto the floor laying on her back and staring at the stone ceiling she began to weep.

Hope watched this sight for a moment or two but then climbed down the brick stairs, she sat in the corner and stared at the wall again

"you know what i'm not doing this any more" Jack said "guard, guard" he called

"what the hell are you doing" Hope snapped at him
"getting out of here, i never asked to be here you know i just got dragged along, well i'm done i hope you'll thank me one day" Jack said

The guard walked over to him "what?"

"you're looking for Autumn right?" Jack said

"what the hell are you doing, shut up" Hope yelled at him

"shut it girl" the guard yelled harshly "carry on lad"

"well she's off with a girl called Aggie, Aggie Smith, she a pirate I'll tell you her ship name in return for our release"

"i'll talk to Malus" he said walking off. Hope stood up and slapped Jack clean round the face "you absolute dick i hope they kill you first, in fact whats the point of not killing you right now" Hope said her eyes glowing red she began to rise off the floor anger blinding her better judgement, a red ball of magic began to form in her hand it seemed to spit out flames in every direction, Hope's kind nature wasn't visible anymore all her friends could now she was anger, an anger deeper, hotter than they'd ever seen before.

"stop! Stop!" Lara yelled from across the wall "Do you think this is what Autumn would want? her best friends to kill each other?" Lara said "sure kill him but whats that going to do, they'll only kill you quicker" Lara said "please stop!". Hope fell to the floor the message sinking in.

The guard came back followed by several other men "that boy release him, the other take them to the torture room"

"the girl boss?" one said
"her two and the one next door" he said. The men grabbed them, Daniel struggled, James glared at Jack walking smugly out of the dungeon Hope just starred and the floor fearful about what was to come, in the distance she could hear Lara screaming, she was clearly in severe pain and even moving was painful.
