Chapter 17 cheating or love

That night Autumn couldn't sleep, she just survived two near death experiences so she had a lot to process. She sat in the cabin the boat kept rocking side to side left and right in a soft pattern which should have sent her off to sleep however she just couldn't sleep every time she shut her eyes she would remember Lara. Was she being tortured? Hurt? Or worse? when these thoughts went through Autumn's mind she felt her stomach tighten in a knot that physically hurt. She lay there in her bed. Her fears and worries were now causing her pain she felt her heart race and her stomach hurt as if her gut were twisting itself inside out. Autumn stood up and walked over to her small cabin window and looked out the sea was dark like the night almost to dark. Autumn was almost fearful to see the blue light again she just stood there still aware of the horrid pain in her abdomen.

The ship tilted just a little to violently to the right and made Autumn feel incredibly sick she felt something thrust upward and threw up into the sink. A little got caught into Autumn's brunette hair and she breathed heavily a little shocked.

"yeah the sea will do that to ya, especially in your condition" Aggie said making Autumn jump again

"M-my condition?" Autumn said a little horse and breathless

"we'll you've been through a lot" Aggie said leaning against the door frame

"i-i'm fine really" Autumn said coughing a little

"oh please your worse than my great aunt Lily" Aggie said taking her arm off the door frame and walking over to basin in the corner of the room

"why what's wrong with your great aunt Lily" Autumn said a little concerned

"oh she's dead" Aggie said picking up a wash cloth and soap. Autumn nearly threw up again but swallowed hard

"oh lovely" Autumn said sarcastically. Aggie smiled

"oh don't worry about it, i just meant at the moment i'm sure by next week you'll be fine and dandy" Aggie said starting to scrub Autumn blouse and corset. Autumn raised an eyebrow she could hardly imagine that everything would be okay not when things were such a mess at that current moment. Autumn stared blankly at the floor. Aggie continued to scrub at Autumn's top. In any other situation this would've been weird but Autumn had stopped caring she liked and trusted Aggie enough so this was fine with Autumn anyway she had little energy to protest.

"you really love Lara don't you" Aggie said cleaning the vomit out of Autumn's hair

"What? No she such a cow, couldn't give less of an damn" Autumn said

"wow, you really have it bad" Aggie asked

"Oh shut up!" Autumn said

"you don't seem like the kind to have been in relationships many times " Aggie said

"excuse me?" Autumn said slightly taken a back

"oh no, i meant your pretty and kind of attractive, no i didn't say that just forget i said anything" Aggie said awkwardly. Autumn smiled to herself no one had ever paid her much attention in the past she was the kind that boys would overlook and girls found her to much or to awkward or to friendly or to straight.

"sorry i know you like Lara that was a stupid thing to say" Aggie said washing the cloth. Autumn smiled to herself she felt stuck, Lara was important but was new romance worth a chance?

"i'll go" Aggie said

"no you don't have to" Autumn said grabbing Aggie wrist

"oh, okay but what about-" Aggie said unsure of what to think

Autumn pulled Aggie in close and kissing her passionately. Aggie breathed out and her smooth lips pressed warmly against Autumn's. Autumn knew this was a selfish mistake but she couldn't help herself she wanted to experience love that wasn't with Lara she wanted some experience like Lara had she felt that this was only fair even though deep down she knew it wasn't. Lara had put her through so much even though this was unknown, Autumn was trying to in somewhat move on. Could she ever really?
