I pulled her even closer egar for the potential of another snuggle when we both jumped put of our skin as someone banged on the cabins wooden door with both hands and yelled those horrific words.

"Life vests on! Everyone on deck!"

"What did he say?" Y/n asked her face turning white

"Uhhhh I don't know" I answered very quickly we both ushered ourselves out of bed and got our clothes on heading out into the bustling corridor full, children huddled crying, people running up and down in all directions, and these staff men shouting and screaming as they rushed up and down the corridor "What the Hell's going on?" I asked stopping one of the staff

"Life vests on sir" he snapped trying to get away

"what's happening."

"All Passengers must get onto the boat deck" he says before rushing off

"We did hit something" Y/n says I could hear the fear in her voice

"It's okay. It's okay. Just a precaution I'm sure but we should get up there. Quickly" I told her taking her hand doing my best to steady her as we joined many others heading up though the ship heading higher and higher a crowd now forming often all of them just rushing though the halls and corridors I did my best to keep y/n close to me as we rushed panicked though his labyrinth of corridors until at last we reached the deck the sky utterly black with the ships lights all that illuminated us, staff and passengers rushed in this mad panic unsure what to do or where to go, Luckily we of course knew our way to the boat deck given we'd both passed it enough on our trips though the classes and as soon as we arrived to the boat neck staff handed us each a thin white life vest and I saw the lines and lines of lifeboats waiting to be filled by the first class women and children.

This is real.

Immediately I tried to steady myself noticing the fear across her face, her skin turned white, "it's okay. everything's gonna be okay. This is a big ship and they're a big company they must do these sorts of drills all the time." I reassured her half saying it to reassure myself quickly helping her get her vest on tying it up for her to make sure she was safe. Just as a flare shot out from the top of the cafe roof shooting up high sending red light across us all and then fading into nothing

"we're sinking."

"What? How'd you know that?"

"Life boats. jackets. flares. the boats going down."

"...unfortunately I think your right" I told her tears welling up for us both but I pulled her close "it's okay. it'll be okay. I won't leave you. not for a moment I promise"

"I won't either, come on we have to find a way off this thing" she says grabbing my hand we checked every lifeboat line but all where full and not taking anymore passengers until I saw a sight

"Thomas! my god you idiot where have you been!" He shouted as he saw us "I've had half the ship out looking for you since yesterday morning, course there all up there own arse at the moment but still where the hell have you been!"

"Around, do you know what's going on?"

"God No. But we have no need to worry I've paid for our tickets"

"Tickets? You- you paid for tickets on a lifeboat?"

"Of course, first class boat so we don't have to mix" He says "Who's this?" he asked at last noticing y/n, and I knew I had to put my foot down

"This is y/n. My fience"

"What?" he chuckled

"My fiancé. We're in love and I'm going to marry her"

"Where did you find her?"

"Down in third class."

"You're insane! mixing with this sort of girl! you already have a fiancé waiting in new york"

"I never wanted to marry her. I love y/n more then anything in the world"

"I don't care. I have arranged your wedding for when we arrive now bid goodbye to your little whore and get on the boat" he demanded taking his seat in the life boat

Y/n squeezed my hand and she looked so sad her hand trying to leave mine but I held her tighter and pulled her into my chest

"No."

"Excuse me?"

"No. if I can't go with y/n I don't wanna go. do what you want but I'm not going with you"

"Stop making a scene and get in the boat"

"No. I'm not following your orders anymore. I'm going with y/n" I told him "Come on y/n we can find a place somewhere else" I told her happily continuing down the deck

"No! Thomas! Get back here! Get back here immediately! turn around! Get in this boat" he screamed at me

"Now who's making a scene"
