Take My Hand (Thomas Brodie Sangster)

Part 21 y/n

I couldn't control my tears as the life boat lowered and Thomas disappeared from my view, but as soon as he was gone I felt a pain in my heart like nothing I'd ever felt, I felt as if I was having a heart attack. The life boat halted a moment due to an issue with the ropes and I caught the eye of a woman who was huddled on the lower deck clearly having gotten lost and panicked without any idea how to continue, we met eyes and shared a moment and I noticed that she held a child to her chest no older then three desperately crying in the stress and confusion, she rushed over to the edge of the deck holding her child in her arms desperately 

"Please, take my daughter. take my daughter please" she begs tears steaming down her face "Please take her Please" she desperately pleaded 

For a moment I considered taking her child but I knew what I had to do,

"Take my hand" I told her offering my arm to the woman her tears broke a moment and she tried to reach her hand out to me 

"Get back the boats full!" The staff yelled trying to stop us 

"She can have my seat!" I told him taking her hand and helping her into the boat with her daughter and she helped me then to climb out and back onto the ship, the moment my feet touched the decking I bolted though the corridors rushing past people to get back to the boat deck as fast as possible as I headed up the stairwell I spotted him having stepped back from, where I left him "Thomas!" I shouted as I saw him he perked up and turned to see me immediately he began to cry running in my direction until we met in a tight hug and kiss 

"What are you doing? I told you to go?"

"I couldn't I couldn't go, the moment I was gone I regretted everything. I can't leave you. I can't I'd rather die here with you then have to go on and live the rest of my life without you" 

"I love you so much"

"I love you more" I smiled giving him a kiss
