We headed in away from the noise, panic and business trying to find somewhere away from it all, we headed inside to the first class lounge most of the chairs and tables been packed away into corners by last nights staff leaving the large stone section in front of the fireplace free, I stoked the fire a little as she slipped off her life vest and coat sitting them on the back of an empathy chair, I did the same even kicking off my shoes,

"What now?" she asks tapping the mantle clock's glass as it had fallen behind a couple of seconds I merely offered her hand hand which she happily took and pulled her into my chest giving her a gentle kiss and slowly starting to dance with her, we stood cradled in each others arms without an inch between us, lit by the fire beside us and the chandelier above us the darkness outside the sweet windows and doors, the sound of the string players from many first class area's stood on the boat deck playing to keep people calm and it was in this music that we danced I often had to lead her and more then once she stood on my feet but I didn't care. If this ship is going down and we are going to die I want our end to be like this happy, giggly, in each others arms until the end.

"What would we name them?" she spoke up

"who?" I asked her

"Our little ones" she giggled

"Humm, I don't know. what names do you like?"

"I like Melody"

"Melody. I like that too if your going to name her that though we'll have to get her some kind of music lessons"

"Ummm perhaps the violin"

"Maybe, not sure I can live with early morning not good a violin noise"

"You have to sit though the not good to get the good Thomas"

"True. she can have lessons at her teachers house though... till she's good"

"Alright, What about a little boy? a little Thomas Jr?"

"God no. I'm not giving some poor kid my name I remember how shit kids were about it. I like Simon for a boy"

"I like Simon too"

"And maybe Natasha for another girl, after my mother"

"Of course" she smiled giving me a little kiss "We'll need lots of rooms in our little cottage"

"The girls can share, the boys can share only really need three. four if you specifically want a nursery"

"True, rooms are just for sleeping anyway everyone will spend time in the garden"

"Surrounded by flowers and trees digging up worms and chasing the squirrels"

she giggled "Then tracking dirt into my lovely stone kitchen"

"I'll make sure they clean it up"

"and if I catch you tracking it in?" she glared

"I'm sure you could think of something to punish me" I cooed peppering her neck with kisses "I'll clean it up of course, can't have a messy kitchen then how will I make my lovely lady her tea in the morning"

"I though you'd be in the living room by the fire with a book waiting for breakfast"

"No, Of course I'll help. cuddling by the fire with a books for after dinner when the sun sets across the moors and we can cuddle up with a blanket"

"It sounds like a nice life"

"A perfect life"

"its a shame... that we -"

"Don't think about that. it'll be okay." I reassured her even if I knew in myself that I was lying to her I still wanted her to believe it.

"huuu!" she gasps

"What!" I gasped in shock too looking around incase she saw water coming in or something

"My journal!"

"You- your journal!" it had just in that moment hit me where her journal was,

"we never picked it up in such a pannic to leave the cabin. it's still down there" she says going to head to the door but I stopped her

"Y/n. you can't go down there not on your own. it could be underwater by now!"

"Thomas, please. That journal's my life I can't leave it behind."

"Atleast let me go with you"

"No its okay, I'll be quick on my own and I won't have to worry. I promise if it's too flooded I'll come straight back"

"....Alright. But don't be too long"

"I'll do my best" she smiled giving me a kiss and scampering off down towards the stairs.
