I hurried myself though the ships corridors and stairwells often finding myself being the only person going this way, often staff tried to turn me around but I pushed though getting lower and lower until finally reaching my decks stairwell, I saw water had already come in but it was only at my ankle so I had time. I held my breath before heading down feeling my feet almost immediately go numb where it was so so cold I rushed though trying my best to get though to my cabin as the water was very quickly getting higher and higher I reached the cabin and quickly rushed in grabbing my journal from the table pulling it close to my chest quickly heading back out the water now half way up my legs
"HELP!" a group of voices called down the hall
"Hello!" I shouted back
"Help! Please!" They called again, I knew I had little time but I ran down the corridor in the direction of the sound
"I'm coming!" I yelled until finally I found the source these voices behind a locked cabin door, unfortuanly right next to the stairwell to the lower deck now heavily flooded the water rushing in fast I "What's wrong?"
"The door's stuck!"
"Okay, No need to worry I'll get you out" I told them doing my best to open the door but the knob had gotten stuck and wouldn't move to allow the pin to retract leaving the door basically locked we pushed and pulled for a good while trying desperately to fight against the lock "God damn it, holy toad. cheapest lining's on earth for third class but we're gonna spend a fortune on the quality of the door handles" I sighed the water now reaching my hips "I think I need to break the door,"
"Okay!"
