I didn't get much sleep as I was packing all night and staring at the crime board in my closet. I kind of lost track of time as the person that wants me dead is literally just downstairs from me and could get me at any point in time if my eyes are shut, or my back is turned. It was 4:30 in the morning, I got dressed in comfy clothes for a long drive, put on a little bit of makeup, and put my hair in a messy bun.

I went downstairs with all of my things, my suitcase, my camera, my hidden files in my bag, my purse, my phone, and car keys. I overheard Skye on the phone in her room, whisper yelling. I would assume that would be Daniel's call. I chuckled to myself and went out to my car. I put my suitcase in my trunk and my purse in the front seat.

When I went back into the house, I went to the kitchen to make myself a protein breakfast, I had a banana, yogurt, a bowl of cereal, and I made a strawberry banana smoothie for the road.

By the time my smoothie was made it was a quarter past 5. Everyone should be ready soon. Skye came into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water; she didn't say a word to me. She went back to her room and got ready for the trip.

I got a bag and put some water bottles in it and some snacks just in case anyone got hungry in the car. I went to put it in the backseat on my car.

As I was walking outside, Jay pulled up in the driveway. He got out of his car and grabbed his things from his backseat and transferred it to the trunk of my car.

"Good morning. For the trip I want you to sit in the backseat with Skye." I told him as my hand was resting on the hood of my trunk. He stood up straight,

"what? Why?" He was shocked.

"Look, I don't like it. Believe me, I don't. But I have to make it seem like she is getting what she wants. In order for this plan to go the way I want it to, that is just how it has to be." I took his hand with sad pleading eyes.

"Fine. Just because I trust you." He began to lean in for a kiss until Skye came out in her pajama pants and a cropped tank-top with a messy bun.

"Oh. Hi Jay. It is nice to see your beautiful figure this early in the morning." She winked at him and put her bags in the trunk.

"Skye? How long do you think we will be gone? A year? You have a lot of things packed." I spoke.

"Always good to be prepared. Don't you think Jay?" She looked at him and checked him out, from head to his toes biting her lip.

"You do you Skye." He scoffed. Angel pulled into my driveway and put her stuff in my trunk as well.

"Okay, are we all ready?" I asked with the little energy I have in me.

"Okay cool, Angel in the front with me. Jay and Skye are in the backseat." I ordered.

"I am definitely not opposed to that demand." Skye said seductively. Jay and I rolled our eyes as if cued to do so.

Angel came up to me, "are you sure that's a good idea? Your boyfriend in the back with your sister?" She whispered.

"I told Jay that I didn't like it but she has to think she is getting what she wants. It's a part of my plan. Yes, it bothers me to the end of the Earth but I am just doing what has to be done. Okay? Let's get going. I want to get to our family beach house by 5:30." Angel and I got into the car.

I plugged my phone into the auxiliary cord and played some beach themed music.

About an hour and a half into the trip I looked in my rearview mirror and saw Jay's head resting on the window as he slept, then I looked over at Skye who was also asleep but she was resting her head in his lap.
