Intro: Coraline moves into the Pink Palace, and meets two kids her age, the grandson of the owner and the girl who's not what she seems as well as she's a little bit crazy. ( Read to learn more )
Merita watched as the new family of three arrived from a tree. She watched as a girl with blue hair wearing a raincoat stepped onto the porch and hopped down the steps, and walked away from the house. Merita glanced to her side and saw that the cat was glaring at her. She rolls her eyes at the feline and gently pushes him off the tree branch they were on, she silently chuckled as she saw that the cat landed on his feet. Merita then saw that the girl took a forked branch from the poison oak shrub and she started using it as a dowsing rod. Merita then snapped twice and she magically transformed into a fox in a small poof of smoke.

Merita secretly followed the girl and the cat followed close behind her. She watched as the girl started going down the rocky path to the hidden well.
( With Coraline )
Coraline walking on the rocky path by a steep hillside with the dowsing pointing the way. Some stones get dislodged and rolled down past her. She jerks her head to a stone wall where the stones fell from.
Coraline: Hello?... Who's there?
Coraline throws a rock over the wall of stones, it hits the unseen spy, causing a feline cry of pain. Freaked out, Coraline gasps, and runs up the trail.
( With Merita )
Merita stiffened a laugh as the cat hops on the wall and glares at her.
Merita: ( to the cat: ) Superior cat sense, my tail. That's what you get for thinking that you could be sneakier than a fox. Aw, is your ego hurt? You'll get over it. Now come on, before the girl hurts herself.
The two continue to follow the girl to where the old hidden well. Merita then magically transformed back into a human, and watched from an old tree as the cat went to the girl and scared her when he gave her a warning meow, trying to tell her that she was standing on the well.
Blue haired girl ( Coraline ): ( to the cat: ) You scared me to death, you mangy thing!
Merita stiffened a laugh as the cat glared at the girl and made a low growl.
Blue haired girl ( Coraline ): ( to the cat: ) I'm just looking for an old well. Know it? ( Silence as the cat just blinks slowly ) Not talking, huh?
The wind picks up. The girl grasps the forks of the poison oak branch, closed her eyes, and, tracing a figure eight above her. Merita then noticed that the grandson of the Pink Palace owner, Wybie was on a hill, on his bike, wearing his skull mask and skull gloves, his black coat.
