Danny rubbed his wrists to try to ease the burning pain the restraints the Guys in White had caused. There wouldn't be any lingering damage, but for now he had a ring of inflammation around each wrist from the ecto-dampening properties of the manacles.

'Thanks,' he muttered to the yeti who was helping him who nodded and quickly tossed the manacles onto the nearest table distastefully.

They were back in the Far Frozen, safe from the Guys in White for the time being as Danny and Frostbite tried to figure out their next step. Frostbite had immediately stopped Danny from haring off back into the Ghost Zone to go after the Guys in White, stating firmly that given their numbers and ghostly abilities, Danny would be hard-pressed to defeat them.

'So what now?' he asked, trying not to let his resentment leak into his tone. He must have failed given the raised eyebrow Frostbite shot at him.

'Sorry,' Danny added, 'I just don't like sitting here while they're off trying to take over the world or whatever.'

'It is understandable, Great One,' Frostbite replied, 'And I hope you will forgive me for preventing you from confronting them back in the material world. But I could see you were outmatched. As you will be now if you go after them alone.'

'So what, you want to come with me?'

'Not just me,' Frostbite said with a grin.

'Sir! The warriors are ready,' one of the yeti announced as he ran into the room.

'Very good. Then it is best we go now while we still have a chance of catching them.'

He hurried off with the yeti and Danny flew after them to keep pace. When they reached the snowy tundra of the surface, he was met with at least fifty more yeti waiting in their dropships and all armed to the teeth.

'We are at your command, Great One,' Frostbite said, bowing slightly to Danny.

He swallowed nervously as the eyes of the yeti turned to him, waiting for orders. He often forgot he was technically the new Ghost King thanks to never having really claimed the title. But now that fact was being thrown in his face. He had to admit it was more than a little daunting. But if he could convince the world to work together against the Dis-Asteroid, then he could take command of this group of ghost-yeti.

'Alright, let's go,' he said, lifting into the air. 'To Pariah's Keep.'

Danny was used to the lesser ghosts keeping out of his way when he travelled through the Ghost Zone but with the regiment of yeti behind him, even some of the more powerful ghosts were scrambling away from them. He caught sight of Skulker standing with his arms folded on a floating rock watching them with a glare.

'What is the meaning of this, ghost child?' he called.

'We're going after Pariah Dark,' Danny replied, 'You want in?'

Skulker stared at him in shock before giving a mirthless laugh.

'You barely survived your previous fight with him. I will not risk myself on a fruitless endeavour.'

Danny turned away, refocusing. He couldn't afford to let Skulker get to him. He was stronger than he was the last time he had fought Pariah, even without the exosuit.

Before he was ready, Pariah's keep loomed ahead of them, still as dark and foreboding as it had been the last time he had seen it. Only this time, there was something different about it. As he got closer, he realised that it looked like part of the tower had been completely blown open, exposing the interior of Pariah's throne room.

'What is this?' Frostbite demanded as Danny slowed.

'It wasn't like this last time,' Danny replied, his heart sinking. 'They must have gotten here first.'
