We just landed. "Беверли Хиллз, я иду! (Beverly hills here I come)" I heard Alexei say, whom was wearing his signature black sunglasses and a tailored suit. The guys laughed at his words. We came with a private plane that I had rented, it would be more practical than traveling commercial. The door of the plane opened and I went to get my stuff and to thanked the staff for their services before getting out. I had my assistance get 2 identical armoured vehicles since we were 6 people in total. Nothing too fancy.

We got our luggage inside the cars and I drove with Marko and Dimitri while in the car behind drove Alexei, Ivan and Viktor. I was sitting in the back going through my phone and checking my messages when I realized Elizabeth had asked when I would be arriving in L.A. I replied "Wednesday". I wanted to surprise them, I wasn't going to ruin it by telling her I was on my way. Scarlett had texted as well, she wrote "I miss you and can't wait for you to be here". I smiled at that.

And just like that, we have arrived. We parked, and before going in, Ivan told me he had seen a coffee shop right across the street so we went by foot, got breakfast (I did buy some stuff for Scarlett and Liz, I'm sure those two haven't had time to eat) and off we went to my first meeting. I must say, people stare a little too much here, I can feel the judgment in the air. It's... uncomfortable, although I'm used to being stared at.
The meeting is only to sign the contract I had previously talked about with the brand. I was having a pretty good morning, overall. I went in the meeting, went over the contract and 2 hours later I was done. "It was a pleasure making business with you, Miss Volkova" the director of the campaign said as I exited the meeting room. "Pleasure's all mine" I responded as we shake hands. My next and final meeting would be later in the evening in a different location. Now, it's time to go and see my girls. I did have to make a few phone calls to have full-access to walk around the studios with my security but after 10 minutes on the phone with David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros Studios, he had granted it to me. Zaslav and I met a few years back, I don't really like the guy but we do have a "good" professional relationship... and he's good for business.
