I take a step backwards, and attempt to turn around. One bites my tail, and I yelp loudly. That hurt so bad! It lets go, and I make a break for it. They are almost at my feet. Since I'm turned around and running towards the others, I need to turn around. I don't want them to get hurt. Like Zoe.
Thinking of Zoe makes me cry. I just can't do this anymore. First Mandy, then Uncle J, then Emma, and now Zoe. And before Zoe was my father.
Terrible thoughts flood my mind. Mandy, did she jump or not? Emma, her murderers are still on the loose. My uncle, well Jared is another story. Nobody really knows where he went. and Zoe, her killers are on my heels. they want me to be next.
I keep running, and I keep thinkng, how did I think that I would survive this? Well, I've never thought about it. a terrible thought floods my brain, do I want to survive? I do, I really do. I no that at this time I don't have much to live for, but I now have Kate and Jamie. I need to make it out of this, for them.
That thought makes me speed up to a speed I never thought possible. I'm going so fast I can barely even feel my legs in motion. But I' still not running fast enough.
One of the wolves bites my back right leg, and sends my tumbling over. I turn over and see them over me. My leg is gnarled, and my paw hurt terrible. But I need to do this. I get up, but the timing is wrong. One bites my neck, and a sensational pain stings me. I feel a trickle of blood on my neck.
Another one goes at my stomach, and I turn over just in time. But the wolf dives at my back and succeeds.
