A searing pain goes through my back. Everything goes hazy, then black.
I wake up in a cave, with Kate and Jamie peering at me with a concerned look on their faces. "What happened?" I ask them. They glance at one another, and Jamie puts her hand on my shoulder. I sit up, and peer at them. "After you blacked out, the wolves left. And someone else came. No one we know, but they told us something. Something about Mandy. She didn't jump, she was pushed."
Mandy! Thoughts and memories of her whirl through my mind. A wave or relief goes through me. She wasn't miserable here, she wasn't. But soon after the relief is taken place by anger. She was pushed! Who ever killed her, I will find them. And kill them.
"Casy, I know this is a lot to take in, but we know who killed her." Jamie tells me. Ah ha! Now they will get what they deserve. "Who!" I reply, becoming anxious. "Jared." Kate tells me, flatly. Jared! But he's dead. There is nothing I can do. I stand up, and walk out of the cave. I need it clear my head. I say my goodbyes as I walk away.
I've been walking for about 45 minutes now. I should go back, before they start to worry.
