I woke up to my mom shaking me.

"Get your ass up Keeley Now!" She exclaimed.

God why was she mad. Its Sunday I need to sleep in. I groaned and threw the pillow over my head. I got up and walked downstairs. My mom had a cup of coffee.

"Mom its 7:30 what's so god damn important?" I asked rubbing my eyes.

"Your dad is on his lunch break and I wanted to discuss something with him is all..."

"Discuss what?" I asked getting a coke out of the fridge.

She ignored me.

"Dress nice and try not to dress like your off the street." She said scrunching her nose.

Ouch. That hurt. I walked back up the stairs into my room. I picked out a dress. The top half was pure white followed by a slim black belt. The bottom of the dress was a light orange and looked almost like a tutu. I also put on my bleached jean jacket.

I picked a long heart locket that draped over my chest. I applied my makeup and put my badge high heels on. I don't know why I got so dulled up. I mean what do I care about a lunch break. I walked back downstairs. My mom looked up.

"Hey you look good for once."She mumbled.

Geez someone tell me what I did to this woman.

"What the hell is it pick on me day or something?!" I exclaimed.

"Excuse me! You will not talk to me like that and I can say whatever the hell I want to you because I'm your god damn mother and you should start fucking appreciating me a little bit more!"

She slammed her hand down and looked at the counter.

"I'll just get in the car then."

I got out to dads work. Boring! Kill me now. We walked in and my dad ran over and hugged us. He hugged me and looked down.

"Wow Keel you really dulled your self up."

He was surprised.

"Only for you dad." I grumbled.

Dad and mom talked for what felt like hours. About about someone leaving I guess dad was proably leaving for a business trip or some shit.

"Why do I have to be here when all your gonna talk about is going on a dumb business trip?" I asked.

They looked confused. They went over somewhere where I couldn't hear them. I slouched on my chair. After about another hour of yelling at each other for some odd reason, mom decided to leave. Thank god! I was about to die from bored syndrome. We drove back home.

"I'm going to the park." I yelled after my mom.

I drove to the park to see Caleb sitting on the swing. I got out and went to the bench. Ah reading a book in the warm sunshine. Until ass blocked my sun.

"Your blocking my sun." I sighed.

He just stood there looking down at me. I got up. I was about to stomp on his foot again.

"Ok! Ok I'm sorry." He put his hands up surrendering.

"That's what I thought." I sat back down followed my Caleb.

"Whatcha reading?" He asked lightly.

"Its called how to be an asshole by Caleb Grey." I smirked.

"Sounds like a good book to me." He smirked back.

I sighed and put my book back in my bag.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Shoot." He said.

"Why are you always trying to hang out with me, I mean why me?"

I was confused. Caleb was one of the many attractive guys at school.

"Well for one you have a sense of humor, second your pretty sexy." He smirked.

He was trying to make me feel awkward. My cheeks started to flush but I hid it.

"Well Cupcake I can't disagree with you." I winked.

I was reffering to the sexy part. He put his arm around my shoulder and for some reason I didn't push it off. I layed my head on his shoulder.

"Friends?"

I held my pinky out like a child. He linked his pinky with mine.

"Friends." He repeated.

That one moment for some reason I felt wanted. I drove him home.

"Thanks for the ride babe maybe I can give you one next time." He smirked.

God how embarrassing!

"Get out of my damn car." I joked playfully pushing him.

I drove home with a smile glued to my lips. Dad was in the kitchen sipping his coffee.

"Keeley come here." He said patting the seat next to him.
He said my first name oh god.

"What?" I asked annoyed.

I swear to the lord if he brings me out of my good mood I will kill someone.

"Honey I think its time we had a talk." He gulped.

"God dad we went through this I already know everything about my body." I looked towards the ceiling.

"Not that." He said putting his hands over his ears.

Then a lady stepped through the door. She ran over and kissed my dad. "What the hell is going on here?" I questioned. "I made your mother... Leave." He sighed.
~Falshback~
They were screaming at each other. "I hate that little bastard of a child." Mommy screamed. "Once she's old enough to understand I will leave you." She warned. "I can't wait till that day." She slipped into my room. "You bitch." She screamed and slapped me so hard I was bleeding.
~Out of flashback~
"She's upstairs packing her things and we are getting a divorce." He sighed again.

My eyes were wide. Finally he saw the monster she really was. She came down the steps with my dog and a lot of suit cases.

"Thats my dog you know." I said.

"Piss off Skank."

I gulped.

"Get out of my god damn house right now." He yelled over my shoulders.

"Wait for a second mom."

She looked annoyed. I ran up the steps and got the necklace she gave me for my birthday a few years back. I ran back down. I threw it at her.

"Have it back it never meant anything to me anyway."
I put my hand on my hip.

She slammed the door. It was the last I would ever see her. I hugged my dad with all my might.

"I'm glad your happy." He smiled followed by mine.
