Chapter 24

I woke up to Caleb on top of me trying to wake me up.

"What?" I groaned throwing a pillow over my head.

"Two hours until we have to leave get your stuff packed." He said shaking me again.

I shot up and ran to the bathroom. Home! I gathered all of my bathroom belongings and went back into the main room packing them into my suitcase. I took the bag of cheetos just for the plane ride home ;). I finally had gathered everything up and was ready to go home.

"Oh gosh everyone's gonna be so surprised when I get home!" I squealed.

"Ok let's get a move on." He said patting my butt.

I turned a bright red, put my head down, and walked out.

"Wow he has an easy effect on me."

"What?" Caleb asked.

Carp I said that out loud didn't I.

"I said wow cheese has an easy effect on me." I said mentally hitting my myself.

"Yea... ok." He chuckled then stopped.
"Why have you been so jumpy lately?" He asked.

Caleb's POV

"Why have you been so jumpy lately?" I asked.

"I don't know." She shrugged.

I looked over at her and turned away so she wouldn't notice. I thought I was suppose to be player not falling in love with girls. She looks so beautiful in her usual skin tight leggings and a t shirt. We rode in the taxi and said our goodbyes to New York. Ugh how am I gonna tell her? As we boarded the plane we sat at the same spot.

"Ready?" I asked.

"Yuppers." She smiled.

"Ok." I said tilting my head back and falling asleep.

Keeley's P.O.V

"Caleb! Wake your ass up!!!!" I yelled.

"I am awake." I said.

"Get off the damn plane! We're home!" I excalimed.

I ran off the plane and threw my hands to the side.

"I'm home!" I yelled getting a few stares but I didn't care I was home sweet home.

As we drove home in a taxi I could smell my home.

That didn't sound right did it?

As we approached my house we took a turn.

"What the hell?" I asked.

"We're going to my house for a couple minutes." He said putting a hand on my thigh.

What? Why did he do that?

We pulled in the driveway quickly and I got out going I to Caleb's house.

We walked in together and I sat down with Caleb's family.

"So what's up?" I asked.

They all looked down guilty including little Myra.

"What?" I asked confused.

"We have to tell you something honey." Caleb's mom said grabbing my hands.

"We're moving to Maine." She said.

I swear I felt a bullet rip through my heart.

"Y-you wh-what?" I stuttered.

"My dad lost his job so we have to move back to Maine." Caleb sighed.

"How l-long have you known?" I asked Caleb.

"That was the reason my mom sent us to New York so we could have time before I left." He said.

"W-when are you leaving?" I asked.

"Tomorrow." He said.

"No! You can't just up and leave me! Your my best friend, you can't do this to me!" I said stepping from the table and running outside.

"Keeley!" Caleb said running after me.

"Don't talk to me." I said putting my face in my hands.

"I'm not happy either but I don't have a choice." Caleb said reaching for my hand.

"Don't touch me." I growled.

"I'm sorry." He sighed walking back into the house.

"I hate you!" I screamed running to my house. I cried till I didn't have anything left in me. I walked back to Caleb's and went up to his room. He was in the middle of the video game but I didn't care. I went over and hugged him with everything I had. I was about to say it. I love you Caleb until Myra came in.

"Keeley, I want you to come with us." She said hugging my legs. I picked her up and kissed her forehead.

"Here's something so I'm always with you." I gave her a necklace that said "family doesn't mean blood".

"What does that mean?" She asked confused.

"It means family doesn't have to be blood like all of you are my family and we're not related at all." I said.

"Oh." She smiled.

She ran out of the room and Caleb stood up coming over to me.

"I'm so sorry." He said hugging me.

"I'm sorry I said that I hated you." I laughed threw my tears and into his arms.

"It's ok Keeley." He said letting me go.

"Spending the night?" He asked.

"Sure am." I sighed getting into his bed and laying my head down.

I woke up to a snore.

"Caleb, get up you guys have to start packing your car."

"Ugh. All of our stuff we need is already packed." Caleb sighed.

"Well you guys are gonna leave in one hour." I said.

He shot up.

"It's 3 pm?" He asked.

"Yeah, sleepy head." I said punching his shoulder.

He finally got up and we spent the hour talking and playing video games and of course eating.

"I'm coming to the airport too." I told Caleb.

"Ok, you can ride with me in the back."

"Oh goody." I said.

After Caleb said goodbyes to the house he got into the car and we drove to the airport.

We went into the main entrance of the airport and we sat in the waiting chairs.

"I'm gonna miss you." I told Caleb.

"I'm gonna miss you too Keeley, bye."

"Bye Caleb." I said as I watched him walk away.

Suddenly I felt liquid running down my cheeks. Tears? He made me cry?

"Caleb!" I yelled.

He whipped his head around and I ran and jumped in his arms.

"I love you." I said afraid of the response.

"I love you more."
