"Yea its kinda awkward I mean you missed a lot." I said rubbing the back of my neck.

"I also heard you might be going to New York." She said hugging me.
"I mean it is such a great opportunity." She said winking.

I looked over to Blare that could be the only one who told Carmen. I mouthed a "thank you". She smiled.
If Carmen thinks its a great opportunity than she could convince them into letting me go!

"Yea, Stephanie and Dad aren't letting me go though." I said looking at my feet.

"Why not?" She asked.

"Cause they don't like the guy who invited me." I said looking up at her.

"That's no reason this is a great opportunity. I mean when else are you gonna have the chance to go to New York!" She exclaimed.

"Well I don't trust that kid." Dad stated.

"Dad she's 16 I think she's old enough to do this. You let a 14 year old go to Europe alone." She said crossing her arms.

"Ok! I get it." Dad said.
"Well I guess if Carmen agrees with it than you can go." Dad said sighing.

"Really?" I asked excitedly.

"Yea." He said.

"Sweet.

Ice.
Tea.
Thank you so much!" I exclaimed hugging him.

I ran up the steps and grabbed my phone.

I'm aloud to go - Keeley

Really? How'd you do it? - Caleb

Just my sister Carmen she convinced them - Keeley

Wow what other family do I not know about? - Caleb

Oh shut up ass. You make my mom sound like a slut, oh wait she is. - Keeley

Ok then, can't wait to go to a different state with you alone ;) - Caleb

I went downstairs and went right out the door. I drove to Caleb's house. I barged through the door.

"Caleb!" I yelled up the steps.

"Coming." He yelled back.

He came down the steps with Myra in his arms.

"I have to take Myra to daycare I'll be back." He said getting a sponegebob bookbag from the closet.

"Ok. Your dishes are really bothering me." I said going over and turning his radio on.

I started to wash the dishes. Then For a boy by Raelynn came on. I started to sing along.
