"Kendall, it's time for dinner." Charlie stated through her closed and locked door. He continued his way to the kitchen, setting down plates and utensils for each person who would soon be at the table.

"Mm. Smells great, Casey!" Ben smiled, taking his seat at the dinner table.

One by one, the rest of the family sat down, eyes examining over the food that was about to be devoured.

Everyone but Kendall.

Charlie shook his head, his hand clenching the fork on the table. Kendall was always typically the first one at the table. She loved dinner time. She never let people miss the fact that it was her favorite time of the day.

"Charlie, did you get Kendall for dinner?" His mom asked, glancing at Kendall's empty seat next to his.

"Yeah, i tried at least." As if on cue, Kendall wobbled in. She wore dark, baggy clothing, matching her dark, baggy eyes. Her eyes remained swollen always, her hair placed in a messy bun that was falling apart. She looked completely unhealthy and it brought a pit to her twins stomach.

She sat down without a word, her legs being criss-crossed on her chair.

She scooped a plentiful helping of spaghetti onto her plate, covering it in a bit of red sauce and with loads of parmesan. Everyone stared at her as she did so.

Casey cleared her throat, "so how was school today, Kendall? I haven't seen you at all today."

"It was as good as school could be." She answered shortly, twisting spaghetti around her fork.

"How about hockey practice?" Casey continued to question.

"Good." Another short answer.

Charlie stared down at his plate, a wave of sadness filling his bones. He felt sad. He felt low. He felt weak. At some points he really swore that twin telepathy was real. Ever since he was little his feelings became mixed with hers.

Whenever she was sad, he was sad. Whenever she was angry, he was angry. Whenever she was scared, he was scared.

But now, not only did he feel sad, he felt empty.

He was feeling what she was feeling. It was like having sympathy on steroids.

"Anything exciting about your day?" Ricky questioned next, after Casey eyed him with concern.

"Nope. It was pretty normal." She replied as she filled her garlic bread with spaghetti, making a garlic spaghetti sandwich.

"Do you guys have any plans for this weekend?" Casey questioned the group, trying to take the direction of the questions off of Kendall, although she was only seeking her reply.

"I'm planning on going to go see the new Christmas movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jingle All the Way, with some friends. Should be pretty good," Ben smiled.

"That sounds fun. Why don't you guys go with him? You love Christmas movies Kendall." Casey commented, pushing the twins.

"Sounds fun but i already have plans with Fulton and Dean." Charlie mustered up a smile.

"Kendall? How about you?"

"It does sound fun but i am pretty tired. I think i'd rather stay home tomorrow. Thanks anyway."

"Well the invite will remain open, if you change your mind." Ben stated before going back to his noodles.

Kendall swallowed her last bite, rising from the table and placing her dishes in the sink. "Thanks for dinner, Mom." She commented, already making her way back to her room.
