Avoidance; noun. the action of keeping away from or not doing something.
Avoidance synonyms; Kendall Conway.
"What are you going to do?"
"I don't know!" Kendall lay sprawled out like a starfish, staring up at her best friends ceiling. A week had gone by, most of it spent at either Connie's or Julie's house. No way in hell was she ready to face the sight of Adam Banks. Not yet. Not until she knew what she was doing.
"You have to face him sometime." Connie spoke, slipping on some more comfortable shorts, rather than the tight skirt she had been wearing before.
"I know." Kendall remained in starfish position. Shutting her eyes tightly, she imagined. She imagined herself halfway across the world, the sound of freshly sharpened skates cutting into the ice. How the adrenaline filled up every inch of her body as she played, the puck smoothly gliding along the ice. Fans cheering in the stands. The cold that tinted her cheeks red. Heaven.
Then she imagined. She imagined herself halfway across the country. A small community college where she could study the stars. Possibly living in a small, quaint apartment. A boy. A boy with a smile that shined through his eyes, eyes she never wanted to stop looking into. Waking up next to him with soft kisses and supporting him in his dream. Love.
Imagine.
"What the hell am i going to do?"

"Is she coming home today?"
"Dude! I don't know!"
The blonde just being imagined, laid smushed against the irritable boys pillow. "She's your twin, can't you will her home or something?"
Charlie rolled his eyes, "trust me, tried it before. It has never worked."
He huffed out a sigh, glancing at framed picture of the girl herself. Well a picture of the girl plus Charlie but he might as well not be in the frame anyway according to his eyes. "Why is she avoiding me?"
Charlie flipped through his sports magazine, "can't say."
"Is something wrong with us?"
"Can't say."
Rolling his eyes, he continued, "well can you at least tell me where she is?"
Cue the flipping of a page, "can't say."
"Oh my gosh! Is there anything you can say?" Adam yelled becoming frustrated. Charlie kept his eyes down, being sworn into secrecy, "nope."
"You're no use!"
Flip. "Yep."
"Ugh!" He laid his head back down, his eyes facing the ceiling. Just when he thinks he got her back she seems to slip further away. He just wished he knew what he did this time.
Surely nothing could be that bad that she wouldn't want to talk to him about it, right? The worst has already happened. At least he hoped.

"Alright that's it! You have to go home!" Julie shouted, packing the girls belongings into her bag.
"Hey!" Kendall jumped up, hiding her stuff from her. "Kendall, i love you but you have to go home! This is insane! So what you made out with him? So what you got into a super prestigious hockey camp across the world? Your problems aren't gonna go away by hiding in my bedroom."
