Carol pushed Daryl off of her and ran back to the house-- still sobbing. We all sat in silence, processing what had just happened. Beth cried as Jimmy held her, and Maggie put a comforting hand on her shocked father's shoulder.Beth walked over to the corpses in front of the barn. Rick tried stopping her but she pushed past him, kneeling down to the body of her late mother.
Arms sprung up and tried grasping Beth, everyone quickly moved into acton-- grabbing Beth and pulling her away from the walkers grasp.
T-dog kicked at its head-- only doing minimal damage. Andrea ran over to the barn, grabbing a scythe and striking the walker's head, finishing it off.
After that incident, we began to walk back to the farm house. Then Shane had to start running his mouth again.
"We've been out. We've been combing these woods looking for her and she was in there all along? You knew." He accused.
"Leave us alone." Maggie spat, turning to face Shane.
"Stop, man--" Rick tried to calm Shane down but was pushed away.
"You knew, and you kept it from us." Shane repeated.
"I didn't know." Hershel defended himself.
"That's bullshit. I think y'all knew."
"We didn't know!" Maggie insisted.
"Why was she there?!" Shane continued to push.
"Your-- Otis, put those people in the barn. Maybe he found her and put her in there before he was killed." Hershel guessed.
"You expect me to believe that?" Shane continued. "What do I look like? Do I look like an idiot?"
"Shane-- hey hey hey." Rick put a hand on his chest.
"I don't care what you believe!" Hershel yelled.
"Everyone-- calm down."
"Get him off my land!"
"Let me tell you something--" Shane began to walk up to Hershel.
"Hey! Don't touch him!" Maggie shouted, slapping Shane across the face. "Haven't you done enough already?"
Maggie walked towards the door, Hershel followed but turned around, looking at us.
"I mean it. Off my land." He said before walking inside.
I walked away from the porch, rubbing my face. I could hear Rick and Shane argue as I left.
We had a small ceremony for our loved ones later. We buried them, and Hershel said some phrases from the bible.
There had been a grave for Sophia, and Hershel's wife and stepson.
After the service, everyone separated.

I sat on one of the porch chairs and looked at the landscape. The landscape we were gonna have to leave now.
I was playing with the ends of my hair until I heard the front door open. I looked over to see Rick coming out. I sat up, following him as he walked down the steps.
"Rick?" I said from behind him. He turned around, looking at me from the bottom of the steps.
"Hm?"
"Uh-- I was wondering--" I started nervously. I held my angel wing pendant between my pointer finger and my thumb. "about that training?"
