Peacemaker and Dusky share the same sleeping cave so in reality, they're actual clawmates.
When writing Peace and its Shadow, I used the term "clawmates" similar to classmates or rather what the Jade Winglet is to each other.
I also googled Rainwing colors and what emotion they express and I found that lavender could mean delighted(pretty much what the artwork says). I decided to draw both of them to look exhausted because I figured Dusky would be up all night worried about pretty much everything while Peacemaker is just not handling his problems in a mentally healthy way. Dusky still has the star-shaped scar on his head.
Also, the top small drawing is kind of how I imagine them to be together. Dusky is quiet and nervous a lot but is good to talk to while Peacemaker just gives a death stare examining if you're a threat to them despite him being pretty good at socializing. Ironically Dusky is actually around two years older than Peacemaker(maybe a little less but roughly).
