Wings of Fire Arc 4 Thoughts and Predictions

Alright, everybody, there was further news about Arc 4 and other stuff with Wings of Fire and I feel like sharing my predictions on what might happen.

First off, where are we in the current time in the books:

Since Tui confirmed in Arc 4 that she wants to go back and explain what happened to Sora and Umber, I think based on how the arc shifts tend to work, there is a decent time gap that allows the previous dragons to develop a bit more and we tend to see later how they're doing. I think it would make sense if this time gap between Arc 3 and Arc 4 were much larger than the others as Tui had also stated that she wanted to include the next generation of dragonets and had Bumblebee, Mink, and our boy Peacemaker in her mind. So obviously, judging by their ages and the ages of previous protagonists, it would be fair for the books to skip roughly four or five years(I'm judging this based on Moon as she has so far been one of the youngest main protagonists being only four years old and Bumblebee as last time we saw her, she recently just hatched).

I think the time skip would also make sense as we'll see a little bit of a larger impact that occurred due to the discovery of Pantala and what happened to the main continent when the other characters return. It also might show the progress or perhaps the lack thereof with peace throughout the continent. Similar to ideas presented in Peace and Its Shadow and other fan writings, we could see Icewings' mixed reactions to Queen Snowfall's choice of destroying the ranking system, the rainforest being a bit of a mess as Nightwings and Rainwings continue to argue, and struggle to co-exist, or maybe we could see the Mudwing kingdom finally once more since that tribe got so cheated it's kind of funny.

Main Characters and Books:

As previously stated about the Mud Kingdom and discovering what happened when Sora and Umber left Jade Mountain in book six and never returned ever again(they went out to get the milk for their older brother), we're probably going along with the idea of coming back to them and perhaps making one of them a main protagonist.

One pattern and consistency with the main books so far is the tribe selection. In most cases, there is a book of each tribe and there are typically two of each(male and female) such as Tsunami and Turtle, Starflight and Moonwatcher, Qibli and Sunny(sort of but I'll get to that), Luna and Blue, and Winter and Snowfall. Now looking at this pattern it'll be safe to assume that since we never had a female Mudwing protagonist yet, it'll be Sora as she would have quite an interesting perspective to read as well. Not only that but since her older brother, Clay, was not only the first book of the series but was the first book of the arc I wouldn't be surprised if Sora is first, book 16. If this is true then I also predict that the prologue of the book was right after they left Jade Mountain. Speaking of them leaving, it'll also make sense if they just simply stumbled upon some of the other characters in a place they didn't expect as it wouldn't make sense for any of the other characters for some reason to be in the Mud Kingdom nor would there be a good reason for Sora and Umber to go the Mud Kingdom as get this, if you're trying to run away and not be caught, you don't return to your main kingdom location. They might be in some sort of hidden cave and accidentally wind up with our group.

My main issue though is the time skip, now correct me if I'm wrong, but Umber and Sora were both seven years old when they were on the run, if this takes place four or five years later after Arc 3 that would make them eleven to twelve years old, meanwhile on the side of Bumblebee, let's say Umber and Sora stay seven years old when Bumblebee hatched in Arc 3, that would make Bumblebee seven years younger than Umber and Sora. This is already one of the largest age gaps in the main books, the largest on the top of my head was Peril and Moon(four years apart since Peril is eight and Moonwatcher is four). If you hadn't realized, ages stay around the same group. The DoD is six to seven, Jade Winglet is mainly four to five(besides Peril and possibly Kinkajou), and Arc 3 is five to seven. By this logic, it would be a bit bizarre for a five-year-old protagonist to hang around with a twelve-year-old protagonist in the same arc of Wings of Fire.
