Huge Spoilers for PAIS!

Since they're kind of dead, why not do some fun facts about Peregrine and Thrush also known as the Secret Assasins?

Peregrine:

1. Peregrine knew Thrush and Garnet since during the Sandwing Succession War as they were often stationed together.

2. There were times during the war when he was stationed to guard the arena area where he had a full view of Peril during her battles. Peregrine refers to them as executions as he knew logically unless someone like Clay came around, there would be no winning against Peril besides intense luck.

3. Peregrine had quite a bit of loyalty to Queen Scarlet but more from fear, he would never go against her authority as he often saw bad wounds and injuries, and Queen Scarlet did not hold back sometimes.

4. Peregrine isn't a fan of large noises, particularly from Dragonflame cacti explosions as one managed to take out his hearing from one ear. Ironic, isn't it?

5. Peregrine and Peril were friendly toward each other and Peregrine, being more knowledgeable in healthcare and quick to help, tended to find himself trying to recover other students whom Peril bumped into once or twice inadvertently.

6. Unbeknownst to most, Peregrine tended to think about ways to kill Peril if necessary like if Peril randomly became hostile(he wouldn't know until later that it was he who was going to attack first). He knew about a few weak spots, particularly Dragonflame cacti and hitting her in the eyes which he used to his advantage.

7. Before the events of PAIS, Peregrine, and Tamarin were invited to Lunasight to assist in a large Hivewing population that has frequently gotten sick because of the "Breath of Evil" that Wasp injected in them when they were in their eggs. It also wasn't only Hivewings as a few Silkwings felt ill either from similar experiences like getting injected later to be controlled or just the trip to Phyrria not going as well. It was there that a Silkwing who was also a designer of decorations, accessories, and outfits wanted to give Tamarin and Peregrine each a souvenir that they could keep for free. Tamarin had something flowery which Peregrine chose as Tamarin struggled with her blindness and all Peregrine asked for was something that could scare other dragons(he wanted it to scare Thrush). The Silkwing then offered a whole outfit with a black cloak and a weird white mask.

Yep, you heard it, PAIS Peregrine got his Secret Assasin outfit from a thank-you gift by a Silkwing a bit ago.

8. Not counting kills in Wings of Fire, Peregrine in PAIS has the highest kill count.

9. Peregrine suffered quite a bit from the trauma of the war(things such as seeing your comrades all fall from the air and splatter onto the ground) and although he spoke to dragons like Tamarin about it, he shifted more to hiding his inner wounds rather than fixing them. In his thought process, a part of the reason he wanted to be a doctor and help wounded dragons was because he hoped it could heal his wounds alongside healing theirs.

It didn't...or at least not as much as Peregrine hoped.

10. Before Peregrine took the role of the Secret Assasin, Peregrine was friendly to most if not to everyone(even trying to be friendly toward those who didn't like him or treated him poorly), he enjoyed others' company, and the most part, did not want to kill anymore but as we know it sometimes takes just one bad day to break someone. That day was when he first snapped and killed Snail which escalated his thought process from, "I won't take a life" to "I won't take a life anymore" to eventually "I will only take those that deserve it like how Snail deserved it".
