"Mommy! Look what Uncle got me today!" I happily run towards mom, holding the big box with Lego in my hands

She gives me a side hug and kisses my head.

"You went shopping?" she laughs nervously, kinda shocked "and that's so awesome, sweetheart" she adds, giving Uncle the look and taking the set in her hands and looking at it closely

"Look, there's you!" I cheer, pointing at her character as a Lego form

I know it's not that big of a deal, but it really made me happy. It's fun to be able to play, to just forget about everything and worry only about a small missing yellow brick.

"Okay, get your stuff, honey" she tells me, smiling

"But- we didn't go on a walk with Dodger" I speak, looking up at her sadly "Can we go, please, mama?"

Uncle and Mom just look at each other and then me.

"Uh- I mean, yeah sure"

The walk passed so fast, but we had much fun. Now, I'm going home with mom.

"Uncle got me so many cool stuff! You wouldn't even know" I smile excitedly

"That's nice. What else did he get you beside the Lego, honey?"

"Iron Man poster, you have to see it, it looks amazing. Some hoodies. One of them has Scarlet Witch on it" I smirk "few comics and some more stuff, but I don't remember. There's been so many!"

"The paps didn't get to you, right? Was everything okay?" she asks, sounding worried

"The paparazzi?"

"Yes!" she responds anxiously

"Mom, calm down. Everything was okay. I was with Uncle Chris all the time. Nobody got hurt"

It actually seems sweet. So sweet, that she cares so much. Nobody ever cared for me THAT much.

"Okay, okay. I just mean- these freaking people are really, really bad sometimes. They say things that no person would like to hear. Ever. Happened to me before, trust me, it's not nice. That's why I don't want you going over through a similar situation, honey" she sighs, anxiously tucking strand of hair behind her ear

"I'm sorry, mommy. I understand that" I look down, realizing how much stress I caused her "I promise to tell you the next time I'll be going out"

"It's okay, baby. I don't want you to get hurt, that's all" she turns her head to look at me and smile

When we get home, I unpack all my shopping bags and show everything to mom. I try on every piece of clothing we got. Thank God, it all fits me.

Uncle and I were just grabbing clothes we liked, looked at the sizes and hoped they'd be good. Uncle said, they'd be perfect for sure and well, they are.

"So, what's your favorite?" she turns to ask me, as we look at all the stuff set on the couch

"From all those things? I'm supposed to pick one, the best one? Are you kidding me!" I laugh

"Yeah, for real. That was a dumb question" she answers in a realization

"But" I raise my eyebrow "I could say the Scarlet Witch plushie is sweetest" I smile, sweetly

She returns the smile, looking at my eyes deeply.

"You're the sweetest" she comes closer to hug me

"No. The plushie is" I respond and she chuckles, stroking my hair
