Chapter 6
5:37 P.M.
"How come you only make a point when we're in danger!" Steve exclaimed to Ellie.

"I don't know! I don't want to die yet!" she yelled back.

Haru grunted,"This is ridiculous! We just need to focus on shelter."

"Um, and fuel! The gas tank is getting low!" Riley added.

"Are you kidding me? Out of all the moments!" Scarlet sighed.

"Shut up! We can just go uphill and head to a house. Riley stay in the car and push while there's still gas. Me, Scarlet, Jayna, and Connor and Hau will fight off zambies. The rest will push the car once it stops," Queen directed.

"This is why we need Queen all the time, to rule us," stated Hau.

"No pun intended," Connor chuckled.

As the car stopped for the groups to depart, Riley started the car and drove as long as the path was clear. From time to time she'd have to park the car and wait for the rest to clear the way.

"Is this a blade?" Queen asked. "What is a blade doing in the middle of the road? I'm keeping it!"

Queen dropped her scissors, and began slicing. Within ten minutes the car ran out of gas.

"When I say apocalypse you say no! Apocalypse!" Haru quietly yelled.

"How about no! How many zambies do you want to attract?" Ellie sneered.

Angelo grunted, "Are any of you guys even pushing?"

Kimmie scofffed, "Rude! I'm trying!"

Scarlet sighed, "How many people died these past few days?"

Down went another infected body, tiring the group.

"I don't know. Maybe we should start counting," suggested Hau.

"Dude we're going uphill!" Jayna informed.

So as the journey started upward, the more difficult it got. The group had limited time. Half of them in the front rushed through killing the zambies, and things were getting sloppy. The other half in the back had to hold in the weight of the van, a person, and all the supplies.

Riley was pushing on the pedal, leaning up in attempts to help push the van. All in all, the night was chasing after them.

Connor smacked a zambie and ended up getting some zambie blood splashed on him and Hau.

"Bish my uniform! This is my only outfit!" Hau complained to Connor. Connor glared back at her and replied, "No one gives a flying duck."

"Aren't we all splattered by now? Can we focus?" Queen pleaded.

Steve grunted, "You'd think being in sports would help push a van."

"I bet Jayna is stronger than all of us. We're so pathetic," said Haru.

"I guess that's why they need Jayna up there," Angelo replied.

"Are you saying that none of us are strong enough to push the van but Jayna?" Ellie inquired.

"What the hell is going on out there?" Riley yelled from inside the van.

"Shut up Riley!" said Steve.

"Hey!" Kimmie said to Steve, "She was just asking."

Haru scoffed, "No one was talking to you."
