I will connect my personal mission statements to fulfill our group mantra by, First, identify the values and goals that are important to me in my personal mission statement. Then, consider how these align with our group mantra of going to college or work and being progressive. For example, if my personal mission statement includes a commitment to lifelong learning and personal growth, this could align with the group mantra of going to college or work and being progressive.
Next, I will think about how I can contribute to the group's mission by leveraging my personal strengths and skills. For instance, if my personal mission statement emphasizes creativity and innovation, I could bring fresh ideas to the group's efforts to be progressive.
Finally, stay connected with the group and actively participate in its activities and initiatives. This will help me to stay focused on the group's mission and contribute to its success. By connecting my personal mission statements to the group mantra, I can find purpose and meaning in my work or educational pursuits, while also making a positive impact on the world around me. Furthermore, having a group mantra is essential, and members must be committed to living up to it. A group mantra that promotes nation-building can contribute to the development of society by inspiring members to work towards the betterment of the community and promoting ethical behavior.

Activity 1: Mine Me Game

In this game, the learners are expected to become aware of the different values a person possesses that somehow could affect his/her career choice.

1. Looking at the words/phrases on the board, what do you think are these about?
These words/phrases are about values that are important to individuals in their personal and professional lives. They include emotional and financial well-being, personal and professional success, ethical behavior, and service to others.

2. How important are these values to a person's life?
These values are extremely important to a person's life as they shape their beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors. They provide a sense of purpose, direction, and meaning to life and guide individuals in making decisions and taking actions that align with their values. Values are crucial to a person's life as they serve as a guide for decision-making, behavior, and attitudes. They shape a person's character and help them determine what is essential and meaningful in life.

3. How does ones' values affect his/her choice of a profession?
One's values can greatly influence their choice of profession. For example, someone who values service to others may choose a career in healthcare or social work, while someone who values financial stability may choose a career in finance or business. Additionally, a person's values may also impact their work ethic, decision-making, and overall job satisfaction. One's values can greatly influence their choice of profession. 1. How did you find the activity?

I find the activity really fun and helpful for students like me because the activity helped us to identify what values we possess, and what specific values must we posses that can guide us to be successful in our chosen path.

2. How do you find your values compared to those written by your groupmates on your paper?

Comparing my values to those written by my groupmates can give me insights into how my values align or differ from others. It can also help me identify areas where I may need to work on to strengthen my values.

3. How do you feel about those values attributed by your classmates to you, which you may be unaware of?

It can be surprising or validating to learn about the values attributed to me by my classmates. But it can also help me understand how others perceive me and my strengths as an individual.

4. How can your values contribute to the attainment of your career goals?

My values can contribute to the attainment of my career goals by providing a foundation for my decision-making and watch my actions. Since I believe that I have the values of honesty and integrity, then I am likely to make ethical decisions that can build trust and credibility in my future profession. However, if my values conflict with the demands of my chosen job or industry, it may hinder my progress and cause stress and dissatisfaction. Therefore, it is important to align our values with our career goals and make conscious choices that align with my values.
