I learned that it is essential to know my preferred career and curriculum exit after senior high school because it helps me to plan and prepare for my future. By having a clear understanding of what I want to pursue, I can focus on developing the necessary skills and knowledge required to achieve my goals. Knowing my preferred career also helps me to make informed decisions about the courses and programs I would take in college. Additionally, understanding my values is important because it helps me align my goals with my beliefs and principles. This ensures that I would pursue a career that aligns with my values, making me more fulfilled and satisfied in my future profession. Overall, after going the "Side A, Side B" activity, it enables me to make informed decisions that will shape my future and help me achieve my goals.

I realized that the value of empathy that I wrote on "Side A, Side B" activity is a crucial value that every individual must possess in order to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life. It enables us to understand and connect with others on a deeper level, allowing us to build strong relationships. By putting ourselves in someone else's shoes, we gain a better understanding of their experiences, emotions, and perspectives, which in turn helps us to treat them with kindness, compassion, and respect. Therefore, it is essential that we cultivate empathy in ourselves and others, so that we can build a more compassionate and inclusive society for everyone to thrive in.

As a grade 12 ABM student, I aspire to become a successful accountant or entrepreneur in the future. In order to achieve this career goal, I will focus on developing my skills in business management, financial analysis, and marketing. I will take advantage of every opportunity to learn and gain practical experience in these areas. I will also work on building a strong foundation of knowledge in accounting, economics, and entrepreneurship, which will serve as the backbone of my future business endeavors. Furthermore, values play a crucial role in achieving career goals. They provide a foundation for decision-making, guide behavior, and help individuals prioritize what is important. Hence, I will strive to maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. I am committed to putting in the hard work and dedication necessary to achieve my career aspirations.

1. How did you find the activity?

I find the activity really fun and helpful for students like me because the activity helped us to identify what values we possess, and what specific values must we posses that can guide us to be successful in our chosen path.

2. How do you find your values compared to those written by your groupmates on your paper?

Comparing my values to those written by my groupmates can give me insights into how my values align or differ from others. It can also help me identify areas where I may need to work on to strengthen my values.

3. How do you feel about those values attributed by your classmates to you, which you may be unaware of?

It can be surprising or validating to learn about the values attributed to me by my classmates. But it can also help me understand how others perceive me and my strengths as an individual.

4. How can your values contribute to the attainment of your career goals?

My values can contribute to the attainment of my career goals by providing a foundation for my decision-making and watch my actions. Since I believe that I have the values of honesty and integrity, then I am likely to make ethical decisions that can build trust and credibility in my future profession. However, if my values conflict with the demands of my chosen job or industry, it may hinder my progress and cause stress and dissatisfaction. Therefore, it is important to align our values with our career goals and make conscious choices that align with my values.
