Bruce Banner felt his anger rising as he faced the 2014 Thanos in the final showdown. He had already seen the mad Titan kill his friends and destroy half of the universe with a single snap. He was not going to let him do it again. He charged at Thanos in the Hulkbuster armor, hoping to use its strength and firepower to overpower him.
But Thanos was not impressed. He dodged and parried Bruce's attacks with ease, using his sword and his fists to strike back. He taunted Bruce as he fought, trying to break his spirit.
"You are strong, Banner. But not strong enough." Thanos said as he unleashed a punch at Bruce's face.
A/N: Shouldn't have said that, Purple Grape. And you want to know why?
Bruce saw the punch coming and tried to block it with his arm. But he was too slow. The punch landed with a loud thud, cracking the Hulkbuster's helmet and sending Bruce flying backwards. He crashed into a pile of rubble, feeling the pain in his head and chest.
He groaned and tried to get up, but he felt something else stirring inside him. Something that had been dormant for a long time. Something that wanted to come out and smash.
He heard Thanos' footsteps approaching him, and he knew he had to act fast. He reached for the eject button on his suit, but it was jammed. He cursed and looked for another way out.
He saw Thanos standing over him, raising his sword for the final blow. He smiled wickedly and said, "Goodbye, Banner."
Bruce felt a surge of rage and fear, and then he felt a burst of green energy. He roared as he felt his body changing, growing bigger and stronger. He felt his skin turning green and his muscles bulging. He felt his eyes glowing with fury.
He was the Hulk again.
A/N: Because...
He caught Thanos' fist with his own hand, stopping the sword in mid-air. He squeezed hard, making Thanos wince in pain. He looked into Thanos' eyes and said, "HULK IS STRONGEST THERE IS!"
A/N: That's why.
He ripped off the Hulkbuster's arm, revealing his green fist underneath. He swung it upwards, hitting Thanos in the chin with an uppercut. He sent Thanos flying into the air, crashing into a building and forming a crater.
He roared triumphantly as he emerged from the Hulkbuster's armor, tearing it apart like paper. He looked around and saw dozens of Thanos' minions charging at him. He grinned and clenched his fists.
He punched left and right, smashing the aliens with ease. He grabbed two of them by their legs and swung them around like clubs, knocking down more of them. He threw them away and clapped his hands together, creating a shockwave of sound and wind.
He performed his famous move, the Thunderclap, sending many of Thanos' minions flying away from him. He laughed as he saw them tumbling in the air.
He was the Hulk again.
And he was having fun.
A/N: Okay so this is influenced by that scene from one of the episodes of the TV Show The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes (Man I wish I could see the full episodes. The clips are cool, though). I dunno what the name of the episode is, but I know it's that scene where Hulk says one of his famous lines. If you know the episode that scene is from, please let me know.
