Lucien's POV

With the hot cup of milk on my hand, bumalik ako sa pwesto kung saan ko iniwan mag-isa si Lev.

Ngunit hindi na siya nag-iisa ngayon, nasa tabi niya na sina Edric at James.

“Kuya, ang sakit ng ulo ko,” narinig kong reklamo ni Lev sa kanila habang papalapit ako sa kanila.

“Ano ba pumasok sa utak mo Edric para bigyan siya ng ganito, ha?!” sigaw ni James.

“I'm being generous,” Edric's voice was slurred. Lasing na ang isang 'to.

“Hoy, anong kaguluhan—” hindi ko na natapos ang sasabihin ko nang makita ko ang baso sa harapan ni Lev.

Binaba ko muna ang hawak ko saka hinablot ang baso at inamoy ito.

“Is this martini?!” I growled at them, “Pina-inom niyo ito sa kanya?!”

“He only sipped once,” James replied.

“Such irresponsible adults,” I took Lev's hand and pulled him to stand from his seat.

“Umuwi na tayo. I shouldn't let a minor like you come here in the first place, you can't control your curiosity.”

Lev keeps groaning and from the look of his face, he doesn't feel well. Well, that martini is a strong drink. 

For a moment, I saw myself in him three years ago when I was fourteen.

Nakakahiyang aminin ngunit nagpadala na rin ako sa kuryosidad ko noon. Which I regreted.

It was the time I haven't yet transferred to Eastern Pearl Academy. Where my heart and mind was full of curiosity, and because of my stupidness my innocence was gone.

“Surely your not completely drunk, but can you walk all the way to the dorm?” tanong ko sa katabi ko.

“Hindi ako sigurado, nahihilo ako Lucien,” sagot ni Lev.

“Tsk.” This is a nuisance! Gusto ko sanang sabihin na kasalanan ito ni Edric dahil siya ang nagbigay ng inumin kay Lev o di kaya ay kasalanan ni James dahil hindi niya pinigilan si Edric.

But in reality, this is my fault for letting this boy come with us in the first place.

“Hey, climb on my back,” utos ko at yumuko ng kaunti. Sumunod naman siya kaagad and I carried him on my back until we reached the dormitory building past midnight.
